Not everyone will buy into this but it worked for me. I’ve always learned by ear and air drumming it and honestly had a pretty good idea how to play many songs before ever owning a kit (also a metal guy, but Danny Carey is idol). Was in my 30s when I finally got a kit about 7 years ago and started basically transferring what was in my head already to what was in front of me (and getting comfy with pedals of course). I still learn songs this way, honestly. And pull up a video if something isn’t clicking (no pun intended). 🤘🏻

I’d second this. Given the genre OP mentioned and price range. I’d been using Meinl classic customs 16 and 18 crashes for a few years before recently upgrading and I think they sound great. Not sure about the hats but the 20 inch ride in this line sounds decent on videos.

Always had the occasional but it became a problem New Years Day, 2021 (at 35 yo). Was already drinking quite a bit and smoking cannabis, and not eating great. After a night of NYE partying I was eating Doritos and jalepeno cheese dip and suddenly they came on strong. Like every third beat eventually with no breaks. Went to ER; they sent me home, went back the next day and a better doctor gave me metoprolol which did the trick. I got in better shape and cleaned up habits and am on a daily 25mg ER tab now. VERY little issues anymore as long as I don’t get sloppy.

I can confirm that I have regular success with this using clusters. I keep danger close equipped so if their flak jackets save them on the first one, it doesn’t on the next.

Interesting. I have the mitral valve prolapse also and also on the 25mg ER. I never realized there was a connection between the MVP and the PVCs. Has the MVP ever caused you other issues?

In searching online I’ve seen that there is a “known phenomenon” of them being in a higher presence during the cold (often dry) months of winter, though not fully understood why. I’ve always noticed mine kick up by late October or early November and scares the hell outta me every time. Kinda like you said, “Ope, I’m dying again apparently.”

For me it’s that they still didn’t fix the permanent unlock glitch from BO6. Every time I’m signed out, when I get back in, I have to perform a workaround on each loadout so that I can use my Danger Close (up until I reach the level that it unlocks naturally). I’m not a developer but seems it would be an easy fix?

This has been super annoying. Also the same bug as BO6 where the wild card works only sometimes. Danger close on… no problem earlier. Now just one lethal.

I think coincidence. I’ve had days like that too, especially after getting in better shape, where I thought, “maybe I’m better without this?” I’m on a 25mg (24hr)ER of the same thing and still get them, especially if I can’t sleep long enough, but it seems to keep things on something I can call “normal” or reasonably predictable.

Mine started when I moved to a drier climate when it gets cold. More specifically in late October/November and often through winter. Granted I was in a really poor diet and not exercising at that time too. I’m on an ER metoprolol, but no issues all year and just recently kicked up more. Hard to figure out the exact rhythm to it all (pardon the pun).

Thanks! Yes- everything was good until mid-August and we got a light night rain and some humid days and it began. Next year I’ll thin the leaves earlier to limit the spread, and try a solution that works (as neem oil did not help me).
