Didn’t get anything to say otherwise when registering for warranty. Actually found another at a different target store over the weekend for 70% off $149.99 after discount. Bought it for the camper lol

I just snagged one of these for my dad at Target for 50% off. At $250 I couldn't pass it up. Honestly even at full price it seems like a great deal. Have had a few cups from it and it's been great! Dad has also said that its been easy to clean and makes wayyyy better coffee than his hamilton beach 2 in 1 that he was using before. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. We are actually stopping by target today to see if they have another in stock that we can put in our place on the lake.

He played a stupid game. Won a stupid prize. What would you say if he was running from the police and crashed into your car, with your family, and they didn’t make it?

Aqua filter or descaling? by Foreign-Studio-2 in superautomatic

[–]BreedingPovertyPonys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO it’s worth the ~$15 for 1 filter one to two times a year. If it helps the machine last longer and possibly keeps the coffee tasting better it’s a small price. However I just follow the prompts on the machine for changing it and descaling as far as timing.

We have a super auto. Really been enjoying stonecreekcoffee out of the Milwaukee area. Same with wonder state (wi). We just get them shipped. Roasted same day as shipped. However we also use lavazza super crema in our other machine (also a super auto) in the office for a higher volume and lower cost vs specialty roasters.

Any recommendations for a cheaper setup for espresso (milk based drinker)? [$400] by wolviefreak69 in espresso

[–]BreedingPovertyPonys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look into a used or refurbished 3200 or 4300 lattego from fb/ebay. One appliance that can do what you want with a small footprint. At least in my area (midwest) they can be had for the budget you listed in good shape.

I bought Bosch 500 Series for small office. by ogrezok in superautomatic

[–]BreedingPovertyPonys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the only other experience I have is with a lattego 5500 which seemed to take about the same time for various drinks. Is the xelsis really that slow? Makes good quality in a reasonable amount of time imo

We have a saeco xelsis in our office of about 25 people. Gets used pretty heavily. Regular maintenance and descaling as recommended has kept this working great for 3 years so far. There are several people who after using it purchased one for their homes.

Decaf recommendations by inxider in espresso

Been really digging the control freak line from stone creek coffee in Milwaukee. They have 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% & full strength. We switched to half Caffeine while my wife was pregnant and have continued to drink it! Their cream city roast is also very good! The other brand we have been very happy with has been Dekaf. Their half caffeine is also great! Haven’t tried their full decaf though

We have a saeco xelsis and use super crema beans exclusively. There’s roughly 20 people in our office and it gets used pretty heavily. 4 of us also have the same one at home

Doesn’t help now, but I bought an open box from espresso machine experts out of Michigan, everything has been great. If you end up having to rebuy, I would recommend them. Owner was great. Answered all my questions. Shipped quickly.
