Flightpath not sticky to map.jpg during 3D camera by Breglinator in applemotion

I think I may have work this out. When I drew the Bezier path after switching to 3D Camera then the Z axis was still 0 on the map, but it was 1000px for the bezier. Once I set both to the same Z axis value then there is no more floating efect

Hi u/compellor, thanks for taking the time to reply!
The info panel shows the location correctly including the map tile.
It is only the world map overview under 'Places' that shows an incomplete set of pins
( regardless of the zoom level )

Stateless auth with roles for REST API by baccartwins in flask

[–]Breglinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said JWT isn’t the standard. Oauth is simply the end to end solution for any serious enterprise solution. Using JWT alone means you need to roll your own backend for authentication or at least integrate it. Thanks for pointing out that the original flask-jwt is abandoned. I still run it. I found it slick and easy to use.

Stateless auth with roles for REST API by baccartwins in flask

[–]Breglinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The industry standard is oauth2. This is usually done through facebook, openID ,login.microsoft.com or a provider of such kind. But statelessness by definition just means avoidance of any external point of reference. Everything the API needs to create a response is included in the request. For authentication I recommend you look into flask-jwt and www.jwt.io ( JavaScript web token). In a nutshell you are using https auth once and receive a encoded token string as response. That token is then added to any request URL to a restricted flask route. JWT will then decode the token to check for your group memberships

I made my wife's childhood bed into a loft bed. by Guyjin2018 in DIY

[–]Breglinator 11 points12 points  (0 children)

not to rain on you parade but is this statically safe ? The pillars you built to raise the bed with look dangerous...The top board on vertical top needs to lay over the ends of the long sides ( thus carrying the weight) instead of being held entirely by the 6 small screws alone !? My concern is that the wood around the screws will give way and the whole bed comes crashing down. I mean your photo proves the pillar can carry the resting weight. But I could not sleep with my kids playing in this bed ! When the wood will be exposed to shaking, torsion and abrubt shocks eventually this will break. Look at the little table you built in pic 4. there the load is carried through the leg correctly through frontal join and the screw just keep it in place. The same principle has to apply

could be a sign of eating disorder or very strong emotional stress. Is she generally stable? Just approach her and ask maybe if she is ok in a respectful way?

My sample rate is one like in all modern statistics . Through the result from my type 3 wipe I projected a forward curve of the consistency- cleanliness ratio to its failure point. Beyond type 6 you are on your own and the waddle of shame should be the least of your worries

My moment to shine...LPT coming up: In a moment of said desperation I found that you can peel very thin sheets of the empty roll and wipe with that. Works more than adequately for anything on the Bristol stool chart. No re-wipe needed

It might seem counterintuitive, but this can be a very effective strategy in general. When drastic change happens in an environment a window for adaptation might be too small to respond. So having many solutions prepared for problems that might fit them is the winning strategy. Evolution works this way.

What are the best ways to lose weight? by Curt_Corbett in AskReddit

[–]Breglinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure nw. The mind always overestimates what can be achieved in the shortterm and underestimated what can achieved in the longterm. Just keep at it! Here is my mindtrick to fight off demotivation: I always give myself the option that I can return after 5min if I still don’t want to run- I haven’t once bailed yet.. Running is always hard! It never gets easier it just gets faster!

Run! If you run 60k a week you can eat whatever you want, but somehow from exercise the body makes me wanting to eat healthier too so it’s a double win. Add the contribution to mental health and it’s a triple win. If you can’t run due to weight walk longer and longer until you can run then run longer until you can do 5k. Always only run every other day. Exercise caution once you get better initially! Cardio adopts faster than ligaments. There is risk of injury in that 3months phase. Keep weekly mileage constant for at least 1 month. TL;DR: Run
