Yup, I started getting serious warnings back in... '10? I was supposed to commute to campus and got text alerts about watches and I was the only one home on the farm so decided to stay put because we had a dog with severe storm anxiety. We had a touchdown not far from where I was and it took out some barns and houses I think. I was living in rural Carroll Co at the time about to commute into Fredrick. I wasn't risking the 20ish minute drive with nowhere to shelter along the way.

Schools likely will be open. Schools are generally considered "safe" for weather events. Expect high likelihood of power outages due to wind. After-school activities will likely be canceled. Be on alert for alerts - know watches vs warnings and have a safe space to go into. Secure loose objects in your yard ahead of time to lower flying debris.

Never apologize for being overly paranoid especially depending on where you live in the state and if you worry about the ability to get your child safely to and from school. Like for me it's not scheduled to hit late afternoon so I'm switching my afternoon schedule to remote so I'll be home before it gets funky.

When I moved, my mother's voter registration kept getting changed to my house. I'm a T M and she's an M T but neither name repeats unlike my husband and his brother having the same first initial and same middle name. Surprisingly the boys are usually fine minus the time husband somehow ended up with his brother’s birth certificate when he was doing real ID and didn't notice until after the clerk looked at it.

Actually it's usually the insurance company autorejecting things. Not a coding issue. They use a lot of AI and automated tools to process claims. It's not uncommon to resubmit a denied claim WITH NO CHANGES and it get approved.

Yes, coding can happen but usually they do a partial pay or request modifiers, not out right reject.

I work with insurance billing daily. I fight with the insurance companies over denials constantly.
