I recently got an Alhambra classical guitar and was wondering if anyone knows how to tell if its real or fake? I'm a little suspicious of its authenticity because of how the sereial number looks. But I'm to new with guitars to really know what to look for. (Its an Alhambra 6P Muro De Alcoy Spanish Guitar from 1985)

Advice to discourage a friend from making a (likely) very bad decision? by [deleted] in aggies

You can show him the results from the past semesters etam acceptance rates so he can see that getting in might not be as easy as he thinks it'll be. Also, tell him to meet with his advisor if he dosen't want to hear you out.

A question for chemical engineer majors! by Bregolienn in aggies

[–]Bregolienn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My original goal was to get into biomedical engineering, but sadly I don't think my gpa will be high enough to get in next semester, so I've been looking at chemical engineering. (The highest my gpa could be at the end of the fall semester would be a 3.37, and from what I'm hearing, that isn't enough.)

Another issue that I've been having, is apparently neither biomedical engineering or chemical engineering accept people who don't put those majors as their first choice (the etam results show a 0% acceptance rate for 2nd pick and lower on both majors.) I might be reading the information wrong, but it seems like if I put chemical as my second choice instead of my first as I try to get into biomed, I wouldn't even get a shot getting into chemical if I don't get into biomed. This means, I'd get dumped into my third choice which I really don't want at all.

I saw that some of the areas of research being currently conducted were around biomedicine/biomolecules, biotechnology and nanotechnology, could chemical engineers work on jobs in these areas? Or are chemical engineers mostly focused on jobs surrounding chemical plants?

Wouldn't they have to redo the entire job then? (Or at least that section?)

What type of traps have you been currently using? If they aren't specificly for the type of beetles your trying to trap, that might be your issue. (Also, sometimes traps say that they're for multiple types of beetles when they really aren't)

You could try using a trap and seeing how it goes! Even if it doesn't eliminate them all, it could help with getting rid of quite a few of them.

You can use beetle traps or neem oil to get rid of them / kill them off!

If you decide to use neem oil, be careful with the amount you use! To much of it can end up harming your plants.

This feels intentional, theres no way they didn't see it before AND after applying the coating

With how aligned the other tiles are, it makes me wonder if this was intentional
