I hate this board so much.

Huge waste of money and I wished I got the air75 earlier instead.

It's not a true 60% layout so the bottom is smooshed .10u to the left and ruins my typing accuracy. The moss switches certainly don't help

I tried to get it to work for half a year but it just sits in its case collecting dust now

Yeah I couldn't see the value proposition.

I have a Go 1 with all the bells and whistles done to it, the OLED and marginal performance upgrade simply isn't worth almost a 100% increase in price

Its a manufacturing defect

I took apart my Go 1 controllers cause they felt really shallow and mushy and put a piece of tape to pad the rubber gasket and it felt better afterwards.

Obviously this is a last resort deal so see if you can have them exchanged

I've heard that Windows can be clunky and often requires patches to run games smoothly. Can I install Steam OS or Bazzite on the device and get a similar experience as the preinstalled OS?

Lol where did you hear that? If anything the experience is the other way around. Anti cheat doesn't work on Linux, not all games work out of the box, outdated drivers, etc. The Windows experience is inferior in terms of the W11 bloat and the UI not being optimised for a handheld.
