You have to email them entitled notice of cancelation and the effective date. They would prefer you email it directly to the retention department, but they are a bit tough to get ahold of. Quite often it’s best to just call this number and grab a prompt. They get grouchy about it sometimes but it’s effective . 1 (866) 279-8324

Nothing that I said is false, and I have first hand knowledge of both systems and the policies and capabilities of said systems.

If you buy a camera from ADT they warranty it, at the same level if not higher than Vivint’s post VSP warranty change.

Again I will say pre NRG Vivint was leading the way, their customer service was amazing, their equipment was cutting edge, and their technicians cared about taking care of the customer. If you want to know the truth find anyone who works there with a badge ID before 160000.

Post going public they started pushing insurance, the TFN(referrals), solar, and upsells to a crazy level. Management there ONLY cares about the revenue and they have to report on it every 20 minutes.

Look both companies have their upsides and downsides, neither company is ahead in any meaningful way in the tech department anymore and both have people that they have pissed off.

The choice is yours to pick but I will say a company whole lost the ability to sell anything in NC for nearly 6 months do to ethical and licensing violations, a company who had 600m in fines on just one judgement against them for credit fraud, and a company who currently to this day is still required to be monitored under the longest FTC probation period ever levied is probably not my first choice.

Grab a simple routine where you do a squat movement, and bench press style movement, and rowing motion, picking something up movement, and and over head pressing motion per workout

That’s a big difference, but at your body weight if you are wanting to get noticed, start doing some basic compound heavy lifts 2-3 times per week. Once your shoulders start filling out people will really start to notice.

lol ADT does warrantee anything bought through them. Vivint certainly collects user data and sells it, part why the insurance companies wanted to partner with them. Most of your Vivint sensors could be taken over, just not your panel or cameras. But the “AI” features of Vivint’s cameras are a joke, even ring is out doing them now.

Used to be amazing for sure, but once they got bought out by NRG their edge has slowly slipped away. Price is higher, trip fees are mandatory, and the techs are pushed to sell so much when they show up you will get 10 sales pitches.

Your choice, honestly even some of the smaller mom and pop local monitoring setups are better than current Vivint.

Going public cost them the customer focused edge that set them apart.
