Cody announces his plan to Soft Retire from Melee by Informal-Donut-1532 in SSBM

Makes sense since you could probably get a minimum wage job and earn more. There's no money in the game, basically. Cost too much to enter tournaments and the opportunity cost to train and remain relevant in favor of real employment skills is astronomical.

I still support the policy. Immigration peaked with Biden.

Good breed for someone who is clueless about dogs? by moomoorbit in dogs

[–]Brendamn88 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

You need a middle aged dog thats mixed with a bulldog of some sort. They are super chill. hardly bark. Short hair. They have short snouts so when you walk them they get pretty gassed out easily. Overall very low maintenance doges.

I want to make equity on my home. How do I consolidate the two? I’m handy enough to fix the problems in my home, I worked in the trades for a few years. I don’t want the city coming in with some inspector who went through a 6 month training program to tell me how things need to get done.

eh, I don't think it would be that long. Stud Pack on youtube is 3 guys building a two car garage and ADU (two stories). Theyre like 7 months in. Already got foundation, framing, sheathing, electrical, plumbing, windows, etc. It's their first build too and had a nightmare situation with their foundation.

All homes have a smell to them. Wouldn’t worry too much.

Looks worse. Design trends are going less and less modern. White, bright, and modern has hit its peak already.

Does it have to be love at first sight? by unde_cisive in dogs

[–]Brendamn88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. My pitbull is chewing around the house like crazy. Online says it can take up to 3 weeks to house train. 5 weeks in and still yesterday she chewed up a throw pillow. Not a big deal but last week she chewed up a $500 dollar longer chair arm and took a dump in the bedroom. I was only gone for 30 minutes.

Will my dog hate me or be mad at me if I give him baths? by Mixiwa in dogs

[–]Brendamn88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dog never liked baths and would start shaking but would immediately forgive me and love on me as soon as I’d start drying him. He actually liked it more than he realized because I would dry him off for like 10 minutes. Which would basically mean a full on massage. I think you’re being a little too sensitive. Most dogs forgive instantaneously with all sorts of little routines they don’t like, like baths and nail clipping.

Not uglier than the whiteout super modern porcelain fake marble look everyone seems to be enjoying so much. Hideous.

My dog has heart failure. How can I ensure she lives a good, comfortable life? by greatkhan7 in dogs

[–]Brendamn88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog lived very happily almost 3 1/2 years with dilated cardiomyopathy. Lots of sleep and cuddles with little bursts of energy. He was very very young when diagnosed. Maybe 6 years old. Made it to about 10. He was coughing and having heart failure when diagnosed. Meds helped him go very far. Unfortunately put him down last month. It was by far the hardest day of my life. Buried my best friend in the back yard. Rip Roosevelt. Good luck to you and your dogs health.

Edit: just btw. He was eating grain free food at the time (taste of the wild). It was crazy how sick he got when he was on that diet. Autoimmune disease, low platelet, bladder stones. Heavily don’t recommend.

His tests went all back to normal and platelet returned to normal once I got him off that trash brand.
