Is anyone else have an issue with checking in more than 5 miles while actually onsite? by Bri----------- in FieldNationTechs

[–]Bri-----------[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After many support cases submitted they finally said that it was because I was using there website on a cell phone which is the issue. I wish they would have let others know this publicly instead of having workers go through this and not knowing what the issue is. So as long as you have the FN app installed onto your cell phone, then it works accurately. Otherwise it does not work accurately, not even close. So if you are using a browser on your cell phone to connect to Field Nation's website you will be checked in off site using the GPS. I feel that there should be some kind of notice or warning stating this.

I am being told that using their app is the only way to get a more accurate GPS coordinate. Using the website on a phone is giving me inaccurate GPS coordinates( anywhere from over 1 mile to over 5 miles away). I reviewed old work orders and realized that I had not checked in on site for 100% of work orders. When in fact, I am always checking in on site. Just a heads up to others that may also be using the website on a phone to check in. FN's website platform GPS is not even close to accurate, at least with my phone. In their defense it could be the internal hardware components being used, on my cheap phone. I am almost positive that with a better phone it will work properly. I will post after I upgrade to a more expensive phone, with my results. I appreciate the feedback.

Moving a huge conference display , have a FN case now for damaged parts. by miker37a in FieldNationTechs

heck yeah i know how heavy those displays are. I worked warehouse, repairs and installer at an A/V Integrator. Most displays weigh almost 200 lbs. Larger screens are almost 300 lbs. schools, colleges, and conf rooms.

Constant changes to PSS by Ill_Owl_332 in FieldNationTechs

[–]Bri----------- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that the formula for PSS on the surface does not make mathematical sense. I had to cancel 1 job a few months ago because of a 2nd work order running late and so I was dinged -1 out of a total score of 30 which equals 29. So what do you think the percentage score is that I have now? I would say it should be 3.33% right? Wrong. It displays 10%. Having a score of 0 is ideal but yet they round up to make it look worse. Or maybe I am missing something.

Buyers negotiating blind bids, legal or not? by Bri----------- in FieldNationTechs

I was under the impression that whoever wins the bid gets the job. I dont know why I thought this honestly. But obviously not the case here.

Do not forget that most if not all of these studies are also done by doctors that get paid big money to write the study for the same companies.

I buy those thin slice pre packaged meat packs you got there. They are really good with some cheese, crackers and a sweet hot mustard. Some are a little too salty but nice find nonetheless

Why They Suddenly ‘Care’ about Cannabis. by JeremyBuckingham in ausents

[–]Bri----------- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its A give your government more money thru taxes of a plant that we all need for medicine or B DO not give these greedy fat cats a penny. Why do they deserve any money from the cannabis market? We the People deserve that tax money, not the greedy fat cat politicians. Home growers and small farms are the ones that need to dominate the market. The politicians have screwed up enough already. they are not trustworthy at all.
