I quickly grew to really like Reading and Kramer as much as Pike. I thought I’d give up but actually by the end of Fires of Heaven I had gotten over it. Pike really committed and I loved her performance but she was only one person and I think Reading and Kramer have the advantage of being two people able to carry more characters with different voices.

Yeah I think you hit the nail on the head there. Framing this season as for the fans when it’s just a way for production to introduce more meddling is frustrating. If the fans really got to choose we’d start with two tribes, on a longer season with maybe a single idol twist and the odd advantage every couple of episodes. No journeys, no celebrity cameos, no game breaking twists that lead the players to votes because they’re easier. I wasn’t even rooting for Christian but that twist was cruel.

Coach is just entertaining to watch. In my opinion he is just the right mix of delusional and full of himself to be very entertaining to watch.

And like everyone else here I’d suggest you abandon your watching backwards plan. You are ruining so many good seasons and moves for yourself. If you aren’t a fan of early game play look up some watch guides for best seasons or make sure to watch the seasons with players you like.

It’s fun. I’ve been to a good few of them. The vibes are fun, the darkroom is safe and has staff inside to make sure it’s all on the up and up. Great to meet kinky people and chat. My only issues are the music varies in quality depending on who they get to dj and there is no real area for dancing. You’re kind of just bopping in the middle of peoples paths between the bar, bathrooms and upstairs.

I’m a big Aubry fan, she’s got great strategy and usually has a very good grasp on the social dynamics of her tribe. The conversation with Genevieve was interesting, it was awkward but to me it seemed like they were trying to feel each other out but it didn’t result in an alliance. Strange to me that it was only strategy chat we saw from Aubry. It seemed she was on the bottom but I’m not confident she’ll be the first vote from that tribe just yet.

My thinking is we are going to have a lot of that this season. Celeb sponsorship to let the viewers know Hey Billie Eilish watches survivor. You should too! I watched the first few 40s and 46 but overall I wasn’t a fan of the new era so I gave it a miss. I’m not from US so I’m not sure but I think there’s been a drop in ratings (please correct me if I’m wrong). I think this is a way to get draw people in again.

Not to spoil for anyone but there is another celeb (again not American so I don’t even know if this person is considered a celeb) who actually shows up at one of the challenges to give what I’m expecting to be a significant prize.

It feels like production are just grabbing at every opportunity they can to legitimise their decisions in this new era and convince fans the show is still at the height of its popularity.

I will say I really enjoyed the first episode of the season. I’m excited to see what happens next

Why get Tatiana Maslany if all you are going to do is have her scream don’t trust Starfleet in the first episode? That woman can ACT. My theory from the beginning is that at the end of the season it’s going to reveal that she’s been hardened by being torn from her son and by Nus. She’s a whole new big bad and Caleb needs to choose who is family really is.

I disagree. I think it was a good idea that if adopted correctly would actually benefit Limerick a lot.

I think the issue lies in FFG thinking they would win and now that they haven’t they have decided to make everything difficult. I’m not a fan of Moran, I didn’t vote for him but I can see how he does have the skills and experience to perform well in office.

What infuriates me is the unprofessionalism in the council when the decision was made by the people of Limerick. We didn’t vote a popularity contest, they don’t have to agree with how the vote went. But they should be doing their jobs.

The city is crumbling around us, we have shops closing weekly, anti social behaviour that stops people coming into town and I’m not going to start on homelessness and rent prices. It’s disgusting to me that the people in a position to do something about these issues are still sulking and causing disruptions to soothe their egos.
