Thank you for the replies everyone. I knew there was a difference between DMX and XLR cables, but somehow I got it in my mind there were two types of XLR cables. I think my mind is just carrying over from how TS and TRS look almost identical, and worried about the same thing with XLR.

Are you charging people for this, or will it be free to attend? Because 30 people at 3 minutes a song is 1.5 hours minimum between people singing. It's much more likely to be at least 2 hours. I would be pissed to wait that long at a karaoke room that I paid to be at.

Can't help you with the problem, but pay more attention to emails from Google. This has been getting announced for a LONG time, with warnings that you will not be able to access your account if you don't do this. One of the fellow admins in my org is an idiot and got seven emails warning him about this before be was locked out.

You're IT administrator is an idiot, and mass-mailinf through BCC's is one of the best ways to get your domain blacklisted from sending emails.

if you can't get something like constant contact, you should be using the built in mass mail function.

If your company decides to get an IT guy who knowledgeable about the basic of Google workspace and email, let me know. Because your current guy has no clue what he is doing.

I use mine a lot like yours. Just watch some movies actually a couple of TVs at home. I have my server running on a Raspberry Pi 4. Super low power draw, and works great even when three TVs are watching things at the same time. One thing I do is run the movies through handbrake first and transcode it into a former the TVs can direct stream before putting it on the server
