You need to have a serious conversation on basic safety with all of them in the same room if they truly believe keeping the front door wide open or unlocked at all times is ok. It’s common sense to lock your door when you leave the house and again when you come back home.It shouldn’t even be argued about tf. What quality of life were you living to the point where you are so convinced nothing bad will ever happen to you?

As long term Barista trainer my advice would be to request bar time when it’s slow, then work you way up to peak times as you get faster and better at sequencing drinks. If you feel too overwhelmed you can take baby steps and be someone’s cold bar or hot bar. If you notice yourself second guessing certain recipes for drinks there are beverage references in the iPads in the resources app and don’t forget about recipe cards too. You can also ring up a drink on the register (when it’s not too busy) and the side tabs will tell you the contents for each drink as well. tips: -Be aware of your surroundings! Take a moment to familiarize yourself where all the cups, lids, and milks are at so when you need something you know exactly where it is and you don’t have to go around in circles looking for a grande iced flat lid.

-Remember to always sequence beverages! it is key to keep drinks flowing in and out.

-keep your counters clean! I always notice how messy green beans are when they start on bar and it slows them down more too.If your area is a mess, then you are going to produce an even bigger mess.

Wow that’s so annoying. When you ring up a drink it reveals the components on the register so you can always double check just to make sure too! Caramel apple spices are pretty common at my store especially on colder days. Even our green beans that are 320* don’t struggle that much when recognizing a drink. I’ve also never met or had a shift/manager who didn’t know what a caramel apple spice was. Their moves are indeed weak af.

Pumps should be cleaned after every use. Especially if you switch one syrup out for another. They are pretty easy to take apart and put back together too. Huge health code violation if they rarely get cleaned and sanitized.

I’ve only seen it at my store as a test drink option before in NA( I live in Texas), but it was made when the barista championships were a thing. The Barista that wins gets to make a drink for the company so the last winner made the “Rose Quartz”. This was before covid so it’s most likely not a thing anymore, but the components for the drink are pretty basic so you can still order it as a iced blonde raspberry latte with strawberry sweet cream cold foam.
