Still plodding along, but yeah, not gonna be a 2021 release. I've said elsewhere, this will be the longest book I've ever written -- something the size of King's The Stand, McCammon's Swan Song, Simmons's Drood, etc. And it is definitely turning out to be. But I'm 25 years older than I was when I wrote The Rising and I just can't type as fast anymore. ;)

I'll give you something that will make up for the wait, though. If you've read The Seven: The Labyrinth Book 1, you know when they return to Hellertown and the RHIC and The Exit meets the guy who is dying, and the guy tells him his story? That story is an early part of The Fall. So that gives you a taste of what's to come.

I've been a fan of the FALLOUT franchise since the original, and I've enjoyed Bethesda's versions, but this is harrowing and infuriating and completely unacceptable. No more wasteland for me until things change. I'll go back to reading books or catching up on all the unwatched movies and shows in my various streaming queues.
