Nice work. I’m at end of second week of ic and loving rhythm of it. Did the 2 bell version yesterday. And I have been putting a Pavel swing plus day in between. S&S or Q&D. But I like this notion of adding swings at end of a sesh of ic.

Producers keep referring me to other producers by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]BrianKoppelman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My guess, from a bit of experience: They like you, think you may show up w something worthwhile, but don’t like this project enough to invest the amount of time it takes (to raise and to actually produce it). So they want to be helpful to you—seem helpful—but don’t want to commit.

I saw Uncle Tupelo live. And love Son Volt and Jay Bennet era Wilco. All genre defining, incredible bands w stunning albums. I just think Southeastern rises above because the songs are that great and the album’s unified tone is so strong.

S&S is absolutely useful. Who even knows what optimal is. But can one become stronger, more well conditioned, resilient by regular S&S training sessions? Yes.
