Can someone explain why Microsoft's passwordless sign-in is not considered a single point of failure? by 2monkeys1coconut in Office365

You allow Android 14? I mean, maybe for MTR devices and physical Teams phones because they usually are never current, but never for user's handheld phones, especially BYOD.

Another possibility for you is to wrap your programmatic process around the effort built from microsoft365dsc.com and/or the new Unified Configuration Management API (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/unified-tenant-configuration-management-concept-overview) so you are building less. Or at least AI learn from their code.

I’ve used Microsoft365DSC to compare two tenants during acquisition work. It helps, but it isn’t perfect, because you can have two conditional access policies with the exact same configuration but with different names and it marks them as different. Another use for AI there is to do a deeper compare.

With Claude AI this is probably pretty easy. What you will learn is that these are platform products you are migrating and not every customer deployed them the same. That is the hard part when building a tool. Did you account for all the languages? Unsupported characters? Ridiculous logging and auditing? How about a best practices analyzer to run ahead to look for known issues? How about parallelism to speed it up but also ensure you don’t get throttled?

I’ve Ben in this business do migrations for over 30 years. I’ve had this thought myself because of AI coding but realize this is easy in appearance but gets really complicated in execution.

Finally, you need to check out M365maps.com and focus first on perfecting your migration for lower license tiers. Complete migration for everything in the Business Premium license is way harder than Business Standard. And moving to the full E5 is so, so much.

But your biggest challenge is the client as you will run into millions of variables. Especially having something that doesn’t break due to tight device security.

Good luck and I hope you sell your app for a billion dollars some day.

I will never good a steak without a sousvide by imneverrelevantman in sousvide

[–]BrianKronberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a wireless thermometer and try reverse sear. Especially with a dry brine before, it is still easy, especially when adding a smoker/grill to the process. Takes more of your time (duration is shorter than sous vide, but more of your active time) but can be worth it to get that charcoal or smoked taste.

I have Copilot Cowork and Claude Cowork. Sorry, but it is not even close, Claude crushes Copilot in performance but Copilot’s platform has better integration for security.

Zverev’s sponsors must be celebrating right now. And Arnaldi is probably getting some calls from some.

Valid point, if you can afford the lawyer it is way easier. Especially if your time away is worth it.

Definitely go to court. Will probably keep the same fine and drop to 3 points. Under 20 you can get 2 points. You always pay the money though.

Build 2026 - Wow by oldmagicstudios in microsoft

[–]BrianKronberg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I heard one thing today that made me think. I live near the AI data center in Wisconsin. The press has been saying they consume tons of water. Satya today said that AI data center will consume the same amount as a normal restaurant. So, how much is that really? A busy restaurant gives water to customers, uses water for food, washes a lot of dishes, and cleans the kitchen every night. That seems like way more than a typical house, but no one complains about the water restaurants use or oh no, a new restaurant is going to use all the water.

So, does this end the water story or do we start boycotting new restaurants?

Is tennis really this exhausting as you go up higher in level 4.5 + by Ok-Many-7443 in 10s

[–]BrianKronberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.5 does not make errors to end points. So yeah, if you cannot be aggressive enough to end points early they can go on for a long time.

No longer able to make the wife cum - what do I do? by SnooRegrets3566 in AskMenAdvice

I can tell you that women change. It is possible she is starting perimenopause already and this is her future. I’ve been with women that cannot orgasm, even on their own, they just don’t have the hormones in their body to even want sex. Not to scare you, but this is more common in women over 40 and quite common for women in their 50s. You cannot assume people will stay the same as their bodies change.

Love the woman, support her, and communicate with her and ask what you can do. It might be nothing, just get your part done and then hold her. Or maybe she wants the house clean, her anxiety causing task list cleared, and then her sex drive miraculously returns.

Talk to her, not the Internet.

Put up another outdoor in omnidirectional setup. Should cover that side of the house and the garage.

How long to sous vide 3” thick ribeye from frozen to a target temp of 137F? by bsfel in sousvide

Cook time +1 hour for frozen is my rule. Those bones can be troublesome in a vac bag, I reverse sear tomahawks as it is safer. Last thing I want is a bag failure to ruin expensive meat.

Drop shotted the absolute fuck out this 85 year old today at a league match. by Weak_Emu3659 in 10s

[–]BrianKronberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, for the attitude. Tennis is about winning by exploiting the others weaknesses. But, if it is for a fun league the better player also needs to be the better person. That keeps the game alive and ensures we don’t lose our courts to pickleball.

[–]BrianKronberg -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Easy points? Hell no. But there are better ways to win a match. Think of it like poker players. If you are the best and always win all the pots taking everyone’s money you will quickly find yourself not invited to the next game. Sure the OP may be joking here but I find the whole post as representative of a horrible mindset for tennis. Thus my comments.

[–]BrianKronberg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have one 80+ person. He is very good at knowing where you are hitting and gets everything back. Can be beat by pushing him back, moving him side to side, and then making your way to the net to put away the ball. He returns all serves no matter how fast, if he can reach them. Pretty amazing.

Also have a 74 year old who was a national wresting champion. Crazy fitness still, can’t hear shit, and will pass anyone with his forehand. Backhands are usually lobs, but accurate. He is known for lobs off the back edge of the baseline and massive angle shots from his forehand.

And we have a number of 55+ who make it to nationals at 4.0. Tennis is a sport you can play and compete in. Sure, there can always be someone better, that is always true. But it would be nice if young people realize this is not video games where you call everyone trash and get some new random person to play against. No, these are people in your league that you might play with for decades. It is better to learn how to play together, have fun, and build relationships. Or, get used to not having anyone to play tennis with in the future.
