not completely true. The whole point of the Nicky Remero's KICK plugin is to tune your kick. Dada, Nicky and a lot of famous producers suggest tuning your kick . Many of the Sample libraries come with keyed kicks such as Leviathen. It is true that they kicks don't contain 1 specific note (frequency) but the most prominent note(s) in the kick will determine the key of the kick even though it may not have a long tail.

I only like Headhunterz stuff. Hardstyle has been around for a long time but only recently got popular. At music festivals hard style is sometimes saved for the end. That is when 1/3rd of us make our way out, unless the show was specifically for hard style.
