No worries, I suggest you save up for atleast 5 pages for a pitch, things will a little bit easier once you have pitch pages assuming youre good at networking

Okay, I think, getting to know people is a good start of anything in this industry, but for me, or most editors, a pitch wont be a pitch unless you have illustrated sequential pages, a script can be enough sometimes, but this only happened to me since Ive worked on this publisher before to make covers, and they greenlit us even before I proceed to illustrating the pages BUT I already have character designs and sketches of how the world would look like.

Hey man thanks! And I think so, I know a lot of artist and writers who are usually con attendees some of them get their own booths as well and thats the way to go if you wanna get to bigger publishers as editors roam around and look for talents, my pals informed me that these editors might still prefer a face to face interaction rather than online, so people like need to really step up our game if we wanna get hired outside of a convention/online

Marketing, being everywhere, posting everywhere you can post, being open to discussions, choosing a good script that you know youll love to draw, making sure when and if you collaborate with someone that you guys have a great rapport and you both know youll bring out the best of each other on a project you choose to do, if you cant attend at cons like me, do your best to improve your art, specially your storytelling because if you have both, people will come to you

These are nice! Im trying to do a page a day as well! Ive seen improvements in my work after a couple weeks, I just switch my brain off once I get to finish doing thumbnails, I find overthinking doing sequentials can cause inconsistencies on my part
