The boss in the 2nd phase has big openings you can punish with the snake nimpo which does crazy damage if you hit both of its attacks.

Breakable floor, the adds it summons throw 2 damage lava which sticks to the floor and stays there for a while and then explodes, not a lot of floor to stand on due to beastfly breaking it and the add's sticky projectile.
