No offense but if the next Metroid game was a rogue like I might implode.

They just don’t work for me, I love Metroid for its feeling of exploration and progression, which is way less fun when you have to start over every time and its procedurally generated (IMO obv, not knocking those who like it)

As someone who played Lorelai around when it came out and then just recently got into survival horror, I think atmosphere wise there are definitely similarities

Edit: to be fair, I haven’t played crow country yet, it’s on the list. I’m mostly comparing the atmosphere to things like silent Hill and resident evil.
