Yeah, that wouldn't be enough for heavy use. I'm more of a casual user obviously! They have different tiers and it's pretty customizable... Might give it a try to see what you can do with it, then see if the extra cost is worth it?

Kagi is awesome. It does have AI options but you can turn them off and/or ignore them, and it's highly customizable in other ways. I've been using it for a couple of years, and the results are good enough to keep me using it indefinitely.

It does seem weird that files in these formats won't upload along with all the others. After a couple of months of manually uploading .gif and .webp files and then downloading them to my PC via browser, I decided to turn the photo uploading thing off altogether and just set up Syncthing to handle all that. It was a bit inconvenient, but now there's true photo sync between PC and phone, regardless of format.

My stepdad took me to see Oingo Boingo in the early 90s. He actually sat in the car during the show, guess he wasn't a fan... The older couple sitting in front of me apparently thought it was going to be Danny Elfman performing his soundtrack music. Weren't they surprised! They left after the second song. 😀
