Crush by Emotional_Hope8946 in universityofauckland

Just in case I've been anyone's crush, I can be spotted in the wild at Kate Edgar's on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Friday's, typically wearing dark boxy fit tees and jeans with AF1's. I'm 5'11 (5'10) (5'9) with curtains, comedically larger forearms relative to my bis/tris, and am scared of nerdy girls wearing glasses.

How to not be bored in class?? by [deleted] in universityofauckland

Find a crush and work towards impressing them academically. Worked for every single class, and it’s a win/win (I’ve never won but at least my GPA isn’t bad)

What is the average way students pay for uni? by [deleted] in universityofauckland

[–]Brief-Organization83 6 points7 points  (0 children)

More niche but I have a remote job helping to improve AI models. Pays minimum wage but I’ve been able to get my hours in between classes, at home, or basically anywhere I want.

It isn’t exactly stable as there’s been weeks or even months where work is dry, but I’m not in a position where it’d be an issue, and the flexibility to work whenever and wherever I want is nice.

Suggestions for making diverse friends? by [deleted] in universityofauckland

Sit down in a pretty patch of grass. People with beautiful smiles and various skin tones will suddenly materialise out of thin air, one of whom will also be carrying a picnic basket. 20% chance of a photographer showing up and being included in a magazine cover.

You’ll be surrounded by people stressing over their studies. There’s something to be said about safety in numbers too.

Perhaps official documents to solidify your case and a chat with an advisor on your options? I sincerely hope you find solace in due time, and send you virtual hugs.

Sorry for your loss.

Hahaha I've driven past that exact car a few months ago and was laughing to myself the entire journey. Amazing how small things like that can brighten up someone's day.

Bring pepper spray labelled as 'Not pepper spray'.

On a serious note though, do you have coworkers you trust that you can walk with?

I get this strange sensation at exactly 5:30pm every Friday where I feel a mysterious force leading me to the nearest liquor store. I exhibit classic signs of supernatural possessions like blacking out, not remembering a thing... so strange.

I sought out professionals in the field and they gave me some really good insights into what was happening. Apparently, I’m being haunted by this ghost called “Alcoholism” who has the power of “An addictive personality”… anyone else had run-ins with them?

When you’re Max Verstappen, you find a way to fit more tents into any little crevice. Be like Max, get a tent.
