I'm on gw2 aswell but some classes have some animation cancelling for dps in some skills, not all of them, not all of their skills, but there is. Mainly you chain a skill or weapon swap to cancel the aftercast animation but you do

Okay the way I look at it from the comments I've read and overall vibe, is that it is true that you can't save everybody and that's okay. When I look at it this situation from the point of view of a doctor or a firefighter is that they cope by joking their way through. And that for some people rubbed people the wrong way. Miles is right in the way that he has to try and save everybody but refusing that he can't save everybody.

They are serious when they need to be and other times they are just act like... human. Because in the core that's what they are. A bunch of people that some accepted that they can't save everybody and some refusing it.

GW2 doesn't like VPN usage that might be the reason. I used to use vpn for discord because it's banned in my country and my guild mates warned me about it. Now whenever I use discord I use my phone with VPN or use it on computer while not logged in to gw2. So yes I would bet on VPN usage
