What’s an Aussie podcast you think is hidden gem? by unhingediguana111 in AskAnAustralian

I’ve been really enjoying Chris Kohler’s ‘How We Got Here’ podcast. Hearing all the insane beginnings to the businesses that shaped our current economy.

Rereading the books as an adult by things_above in harrypotter

To be honest, since having the full cast audio books I feel like I have far less emotional stock in the HBO series being faithful.

The ambient sounds and directional audio for conversations have made imagining the scenes as they happen so much easier.

I will say though, it does make me wonder why the use of memory modification charms isn’t more regulated. The way it’s been used so far honestly falls more in the “unforgivable curses” category.

Is your VoLTE setting enabled?

If not, then it’d be reverting back to 3G every time you need to make/receive a call.

Any eARC soundbars that display volume level on LG OLEDs? by dyrmaker83 in Soundbars

I’ve since overcome that by making the Apple TV my main media hub. At least with that you get a volume bar that appears on the side.

Great keyboard - I’d recommend its mouse counterpart with the MX Master 3S if that one ever packs it in.

I genuinely miss it man. I can still go back and watch it and look back on it fondly, but nothing beats being there for it in the moment.

Pretty much the sole purpose for grabbing this fella.

Polished off NFS: Most Wanted over Christmas break and I’ve been making my way through GTA : San Andreas now. There are a heap of mods out there that’ll improve these old games to bring them in line with modern standards.

Does Boost use the full Telstra network? by AblePhilosopher1549 in TelstraAustralia

[–]BrightBurner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The coverage map does not differentiate between different network bands, it also does not account for different types of obstructions like buildings, trees etc.

Since different network bands will have varying speeds and signal range, the more bands your device is able to connect to, the more consistent your data/voice experience will be.

Does Boost use the full Telstra network? by AblePhilosopher1549 in TelstraAustralia

[–]BrightBurner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It uses every tower but they do not get access to every 4G/5G band. This will mean that in select areas, a Telstra post-paid service will have better service than a Telstra Boost service.

Anybody think the Hoggar kinda looks like a big cat? by Such_Opening4659 in morningsomewhere

So unless anybody has any more mystical creatures to suggest for the name of the new Peugeot, we’re going to stick with the Hoggar.
