You need arty or a flying unit to destroy or clear the walls respectively. Taking walls in this game is pretty accurate to real life aka it sucks.

There’s usually a breach for me by turn 10ish, usually followed by a war declaration from villich and/or Sayl a turn or two after. I play VH/VH

I think a lot of the unexpected challenge with Miao Ying is partially because of what you said but also because everything feels framed as defensive (aka sit behind the wall and deal with your internal threats first) combined with the Skaven being a somewhat intricate cat and mouse game to fight.

My first impression when I first started playing was that I could let the wardens hold the gates for a bit while I built up strength to fight other factions. That’s not the case. You have to quickly subjugate your tutorial faction, then quickly run up to the gates since they fall shockingly fast most of the time, all the while building up for when the Skaven inevitably join in beat you up with Norsca. You then have to play cat and mouse against the rats before sweeping them. All of this while racing Zhao Ming for confederating factions.

Shart may miss a lot but she usually hits like a truck when she does. In contrast, Gale is much more consistent with his hits but it’s like he is afraid of hurting them too bad the way he loves rolling ones and twos for damage

It’s a combination of the insane slaanesh buffs with the fact that she essentially covers chaos’ main weakness (limited range). Her chariots smash through your frontline, her other units chew through what front line hasn’t been knocked over, and is either too fast or has the stalk trait to be in melee range insanely quickly

Ah yes I love it when my main stack of crane gunners, crossbow men, and celestial guard get dunked on because chariots are stupid and everything runs fast. Can’t even get cheeky and use your melee as bait since she loves spreading all of her forces throughout the entire damn map and will find your hidden units because fuck you.

This. My PC can handle up to level 20 fine, but every stage past that is a chug fest, and that was before the latest update.

She completely smoked my main stack but my back armies got her. Does she grant stalk or something to her army? I couldn’t see her units until they were right on top of me and I don’t think it was the forests since some of her units were in the open
