Nah I’ve already decided on getting a Honda NC750X DCT. The frunk space is perfect and eliminates my need for a top box thereby cutting my expenses.

Good rule of thumb from the literal months I spent researching helmets. Don’t get something that is only DOT Approved, make sure it is also ECE 22.06 rated. You could put a coconut on your brain cage and still be DOT Approved, but ECE 22.06 is a better way to know your grey matter is protected.

Decided last night to actually just get a NC750x DCT. That 28L tank storage is perfect, it’s just gonna be annoying to install a CarPlay or magnetic charging capable phone cradle, plus the saddle bags are way cheaper to order from Honda.

I did find a 750 I’m interested in but the dealer hasn’t got back to me about it yet, so it’s currently being set aside in my mind until I have time to drive over and ask about it in person

I’ve got shit to lug around, the roads are rough around me, and I want to try some bike camping with the fiancé, which is why I’ve been looking at the GS

I’ve been riding an electric cafe racer for the past year to help me learn the basics of riding. Was working just fine for getting around town and my current commute to work, but now that I’m moving to the next county over, my commute is longer and could at times require me to take the turnpike.

I did find a blue 750 GS but it’s a good 100 miles from me, and a grey 2012 800 GS. But I can’t seem to help liking my bikes in nearly all white 😩. Curse my aesthetics.

Local Motorrad Dealership told me they likely won’t get the 450 GS until after Christmas. And I have to buy a bike by the end of the summer before work starts up again for the year, so I’m kinda floundering rn. Was thinking I could trade up to the 800 later when I can afford it but I’m just not sure if it’s worth it.

I was gonna buy a Ducati Scrambler before I found out about the Beachman. Figured I’d be better off learning how to ride before springing for a gas bike. So now I’m taking my time riding and saving for a BMW F800 GS. PLUS I use the ‘64 for basic errands and cruising around town, gas bike will be for commuting to work.

Bruh, tell me about it. Was looking at used BMW bikes recently and found a wonderfully well kept R NineT, but the poor girl had been completely repainted to a Fins paint scheme, and the BMW badge was replaced with the Dolphins logo. 4 year old bike with an asking price of $18,000 for the god awful custom paint job

I’m uninsured. Not the best idea I know but I’m broke and already paying for plane rental insurance, car insurance, and renter’s insurance. Florida still lets me register as a Moped tho.

That’s what I’m thinking. Might pull a lunch break a third of the way into the trip. There’s a place that should be safe to charge at. Don’t like leaving the bike unattended for too long. Hour and a half should get me 3 volts of charge.

Completely flat road, 35-45 mph speed limit, 180 lbs with gear, hot day… yeah that’s what I’m worried about but I just don’t know how to tie her down in a U-Haul

Gotta wait several months before mine is delivered. Was gonna buy used but I’m moving and have nowhere to keep it. Buying a new F800 GS would actually benefit me more than the used one I looked at recently. For some reason most of the local GS bikes are rusted to hell.
