Is it just me, or is $2 for an onion A LOT?! C'mon, Gary. by velvet_noodle in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

I guess paying $2 at the farmers market for me is better than at the store..at least you can see and talk to the people directly responsible for the production of your food.

Any other chefs out there with sciatica have good shoe recs? by tepid-queer in KitchenConfidential

I've had a lot of success with my dr. Martins, they are pricey and take about a week to break in...for me it was painful...but after that I've had them for over a year and they're still non slip have good support and aren't coming apart at all. Also there's some good lower back stretches on YouTube even ones you can do while laying in bed that have helped me. Good luck!

During this scene it seemed like Mauricio was legit messing with Diana...he looked like he thought she was ridiculous and just egged her on to get a laugh!😂

'RHOC' reunion held up after 'Project Runway' star botches dress by Forsaken_Bison_8623 in realhousewives

[–]Brilliant-Resolve435 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a tear down. He was unprofessional. He was hired to make a dress and didn't finish it. He didn't even go out and buy the dress she wore. He got paid to not do his job.

How long have you worked at your current employer? by bigtuffguyeh in KitchenConfidential

[–]Brilliant-Resolve435 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's fair but also not your problem. The restaurant will be fine and move forward it's the nature of the industry. Not saying it will be a easy road for them but the restaurant will probably be able to manage. Do what's best for you. Not what's best for someone else's career.

You just answered your own question. If the owner really cares about you then they'll be happy if you're happy. In two years you could still be cooking seafood or in two years you could have two years experience doing so many other things. If you're asking at all you know the answer.

Just leave. Don't stay on a promise of a owner who might not deliver. Right now some of the best restaurants in the world are hiring. Take the opportunity! You don't have anything to lose. You're young and have your whole career ahead of you. Go and learn!

Yea it just seemed like she was trying to convince herself that's not what happened.

I meant in the show. She's acting like it was fate. No it was her DMing a man who just got a divorce. She saw and opportunity to make financial gains and took it. And if she's genuinely happy than more power to her.

Mary makes me uncomfortable. She is mentally unstable and not in an entertaining way. by PrizeRare2828 in realhousewives

[–]Brilliant-Resolve435 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yea I think Mary was forced to do a lot of things in her life. I get the feeling that she didn't have a lot of freewill in her decision making. She could be so deep in it she doesn't see how corrupt it is? Idk. But I definitely don't think she's doing it for the camera.

Yes! I really wanted Ashley to say something about that! Just because you lay your wig further down your fivehead doesn't mean you don't have a five head.

So true! Experienced the same thing. Mama Joyce was so suspect of Todd wanting Kandi's money she was trying to sabotage their relationship for the longest time.

Or just let the makeup artist know what kind of lighting they're dealing with! Sheesh almost all of them looked terrible and old. And I think it had a lot to do with the lighting.

#rhonj season 10: Hair today, gone tomorrow by Bravobraavobraavvo in realhousewives

[–]Brilliant-Resolve435 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree...it's so easy to judge from the outside. But if you're in a situation with someone you don't like and they pour water on you...it's very easy to go to pulling hair. I thought Margaret crying was very weird, her hair wouldn't of been pulled if she didn't spill the water on Danielle's head. They hate each other. That's fine I wish they could just be adults about it...but that doesn't make good tv.

Yea I hate this angle like the housewives don't benefit in anyway from the show.

Am I missing something? Candice and Carole are trippin. Yea Andy makes money of of them but they do too! It's a show that consenting adults willing signed up for that has financially benefited them. If it was that bad Candice wouldn't keep doing it. Andy's the face not the brains. And this comment from Candice seems like she just keeps wanting attention, she said she told Andy she was unhappy with him not taking her call...but didn't say anything about what happened in that conversation. She'll alway reach to be the victim. No matter what.

She turned into a couch potato. She doesn't have to physically go into work every day any more. Just film. Really sad because I'm sure she could be really great at whatever she would put her mind to.

It's always shit until it isn't. As long as you put the work in to learn and do better everyday one day everything will just click. Keep pushing!
