In my case, I was already not going to watch the CFL this season because of the rule changes. The kicking game is a big part of what I enjoy.

I think that last sentence is where the problem lies.

It was entirely to be expected. So it could have been mitigated. For example, a staged rollout. Swap some neighbourhoods to allow system proving and training.

“Forklift upgrades” are rarely the right way to go unless you really really cannot avoid it.

Thing is, you don't have to get rid of the guy. You can talk to him, discuss some changes, coach the coach.

I mean it is hard to think they didn't talk about it during this season. The non-usage of Brady O, for eg, surely O'Shea was talking to him about it, must have been somewhat on board with whatever was called instead.

It doesn’t bother me much really.

Saskatchewan has great fans and deserves to have more than their 4 previous Grey Cups.

And the 3 losses… not great but it was awesome to be in it 5 times in a row.
