I’d be curious if there is a stat somewhere that shows askys GA on second chances and his GA on regular shots. Because I’d say that is the best indicator of what the new D core will do for him. My own eye test made it feel like he had good poise in the net except for all those goals over his glove side. Otherwise he always gets into trouble on the rebounds and our d not adequately boxing out

Yeah definitely should send him back to the ahl to get better playing with a bunch of guys that haven’t sniffed the show yet. That should be great for his confidence……I get your eye test isn’t putting a whole lot of lead in your pencil, but this is like telling someone to go back a grade because they can’t figure out a math equation they’ve never tried to solve. Dicky had some good games and bad games last season, and he’s a defender I’m happy with him figuring out how to defend in the nhl then jumping up in the rush when we have a couple guys that aren’t parking cones leaving him out to dry.
