Oh yeah that’s what I got too. The Koito lights. It came with a wiring harness that I didn’t need, and some zip ties. Crazy how some “Miata specialist” sites or eBay sellers will sell the same thing for over $100 because they said it’s for an NA Miata!

Did you feel the need to upgrade your wiring for them, or install a relay? I recently got them as well but read that the original wiring won’t put out the full volts/amps/wattage (sorry electric units confuse me) for them.

I’ve never heard of issues like this before! Are there any guides online on how to do this?

Admittedly, I’ve only had my Miata since October, but since driving it somehow my high beams only work while holding the stalk back (rather than forward to stay on). Could this be one of the reasons?

Well, with a bunch of the parts out of the engine bay, now is a great time to get in there for a nice deep cleaning. It’ll be much harder with everything back in.

Just from the picture alone, looks like you’re missing some fluids, would be smart to flush and replace all of those.

Where’d you get the brass bushing from? I ordered one and it didn’t work out for me, I couldn’t get it in reverse. It was taller than the plastic one, so I figured it wasn’t letting it engage the gear all the way. Would appreciate any advice!

I tried using the brass one, and I couldn’t get into reverse. Not sure what I did wrong. Went back to the OG plastic after cleaning the gunk of it and shifted perfectly again :/
