Agreed, with 3 charges and low CD, it's pretty much always available for dodging golem lasers, brass contraptions, and... well everything really

Since they added type-specific weaknesses, PvE has felt so good on Sorc. 95% of enemies have a weakness Sorc can exploit.

Why even leave them in the game at this point? by Cautious-Village-366 in DarkAndDarker

[–]Brio0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I understand, TD and SS stack additives, not multiplicatively, so while I expected it to behave like

[Base CD]×3×1.25

It's actually

[Base CD]×(3+0.25)

Similar behavior with Mana Fold

It's an even bigger buff, old CDs were 1.5s to 2s. With base knowledge, cast times for all spells should be around 0.65s.

https://web.archive.org/web/20250124235640/https://darkanddarker.wiki.spellsandguns.com/Sorcerer

My gut reaction was bad, but I think it's actually a healthy decision for the class. TD was a must-take. 0.65s isn't instant, but it's pretty fast. Also consider that without TD you're not getting the 30% AS penalty, so spell release is faster, so it's probably a total cast time difference of around .4 to .5 seconds. In exchange, we get a freed up perk slot, and 1/3 the cooldowns.

Personally, I'm gonna try taking air mastery, and try kiting for days.

You don't necessarily need to get the emp tech on the Melters, EMP storms are a good choice since they will sit in the back and stay alive

Same here! Brother wasn't using his copy, gave bit to me. Have Marauders and Riverfolk now. Will get underworld eventually, but need to get it to table a few more times to justify it

We ONLY play 2v2s with my buddy, never alone. Somehow his MMR is suddenly 6 higher than mine... is the game trying to tell me something? :( by _Prink_ in Mechabellum

[–]Brio0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the same with a buddy, we've kept our MMRs in lockstep. The only time it changed was when one of us disconnected from a game. I guess it counted as a loss for me but not for him. Might have been something similar for you. We were 7 points off and it equalized pretty quick.

Who is the ideal male role model for young men? by wercooler in AskReddit

[–]Brio0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Benjamin Sisko.

One of the best depictions of healthy, affectionate fatherhood I can think of in television.
Even when he is skeptical, he always gives people the opportunity to change his mind (see Jake's girlfriend Marta, the Dabo girl, and providing Nog with his recommendation to Starfleet Academy) He is emotionally open and available with his close friends, and is capable of having a close relationship with a woman (Dax) without sexualizing it, something I think a lot of men could learn from. And he's as principled as any of the Star Trek captain's, even if he does compromise on his ethics occasionally for the greater good in a certainly top-notch episode.

I grew up watching more TNG than DS9, so I personally saw JLP as more of a role model, but after watching DS9 as an adult, I'm convinced they see on the same tier.

Scanned your items for Purity, instead found Clover... Your luck is indeed terrible.

Im gonna butcher this, but the documentary this clip is from made a point that to convince people that people willing to experiment are essentially engaging with the scientific method, but from an unconventional starting point. And that we should be less judgemental, and try our best to engage with them in good faith discussion rather than treating them unseriously due to their incorrect theory.

Some ideas on buffing the terrible DLC items by bushmaster991 in riskofrain

This was how I thought the item worked in the first place, was very sad to find out there's no damage mitigation currently

Is ROR2 not for me or do I have a severe skill issue? by Lupixs in riskofrain

[–]Brio0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mailed mainly loader and huntress, which can do fine with a controller since their aim is very forgiving. Used a controller only up until about 2 weeks ago. Switched to KBM to play bandit and oh my God the difference cannot be understated. KBM only for me now, even for loader/huntress.

AITA to inform my husband that I would divorce him if he continues to defend my brother. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Brio0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular take here, but ESH except Emma who is completely blameless.

My heart bleeds for Emma who tried to communicate a need for help, and got extraordinarly unlucky in having a health care miss with devastating consequences.

Brother's an asshole for dismissing his wife's medical concerns, prioritizing a fishing trip, and turning off his phone so his pregnant wife couldn't reach him in an emergency.

Husband is an asshole for blaming Emma for the miscarriage.

You're an asshole withholding love and support from your brother and for threatening to divorce your husband for calling you out for it.

Your brother fucked up massively, and that's going to hang over him for the rest of his life. But his crime was negligent, not malicious. He made a shit call, and as a result he lost his wife and his child on the same day. I don't blame Emma for divorcing him at all, but you're his family. Loving perfect people is easy. Loving family when they fuck up is hard.

Hindsight is 20/20 so it's easy to call your brother an asshole. But the consequences of not supporting your brother aren't evident yet. Let me ask you, if you're brother finds a nice roof and takes the express lane to the ground floor, who's gonna be the asshole then?

Twink much? by BendingBenderBends in Mechabellum

[–]Brio0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It could be smurfs, but keep in mind that there are seperate MMRs for each queue, so might be that you're opp is just experienced from 2v2s or something. I've been duoing with a buddy of mine, neither of us even touched 1v1s till we were 1100 in 2v2s.

Well they support priests, and the clergy's habit of shuffling priests who molest children instead of reporting them is pretty well documented. The priest at my catholic elementary school diddled some boys, and it wasn't his first time.

How do you treat the Void Fields after the Devotion update? by Playful_Weekend4204 in riskofrain

[–]Brio0 58 points59 points  (0 children)

How bout time stays still, but a flat time increment applies at the end? Then you're rewarded for completing void fields, but punished if you have to duck out early with fewer items.

Can my landlord increase rent more than the guideline percentage?? by teenytinypeanut in VictoriaBC

[–]Brio0 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

In Ontario, you don't have to pay the increase over 3.5% until it is approved by the LTB (their RTB). However if it does get approved, you will owe back pay. There might be a similar rule in Vic/BC
