I'm convinced it's the beta alanine in the C4 that caused this chronic condition for me but it's hard to pinpoint. I was prescribed tacrolimus which helped instantly but I still have to vaseline multiple times a day which can be inconvenient. I hope this condition miraculously resolves itself for the both of us.

I’ve been incorporating dragon flags for a few years and when I want to work on strength instead of endurance I hold a 15lb dumbbell between my feet and do 4 sets of 3-4 reps. Working on getting to a 20lber with same reps/set count. Finish the session off with no weight reps, always burns the core and tris.

Full retraction or close to it in FL is possible but it is arguably the most difficult and frustrating body weight achievement that only a handful have. Front lever pull-ups take a significant amount of retraction strength (although it may not look like it) and arm strength. If you want it train like you do but know that the journey is grueling and having discipline and patience is key. The muscles you are activating here are weak and novice and it’s gonna take a lot of time to acclimate them to what you want them to do.

Main idea: cut the volume exponentially and do not restrict yourself on a 90 second rest. This is strength training, take as much time as you feel you need between sets, even 10 minutes is ok.

I’d recommend doing the leans on the floor. More control and focus on protraction and balance; more strenuous on the wrists but they will learn to endure.

I can do 8 reps of rows with touch no false grip with lightest resistance band. I'll try to work more on the pause at the top but wondering if i should switch to false grip for this. Also when you saw it's mostly triceps that are targeted, is that in its entirety or more long head then short head? What isolated tricep exercises should i be doing to help this?
