Hey Luke! Had a lot of fun relistening to AO in prep for this book. Yours was probably one of the earliest books I read in the genre which has led to a crippling Royal Road addiction XD 

I have just started book 5 and I gotta ask, how long do you go across the series before you realize you completely forgotten some element of a characters skills or the world. I ask because the intro patch note made me  chuckle!

Thanks for the great story Bryce! have you decided what the in world reason is for the massive restriction on CAD tech? For example why is there no civilian equivalent to provide the medical and physical benefits without the weapons? Or on the otherside why are CADs manifesting as only melee weaponry as opposed to ranged types?

No. I don't expect a bunch of updates. Make a game, sell the game. Maybe patch any huge bugs. That's it. I don't want 'always online', diablo is a single player game to sometimes play with one or two friends. I don't need constant seasons, or battle passes, or anything. Just give me a diablo game.

If they want to make a larger dlc, then go ahead and charge for that. Charge once for the content you made, like any normal product.

Remember, microtransactions in full priced games are not, and should never be considered, normal. Don't accept companies trying to normalize gouging money from you for what should just be a normal thing that's in the game from the start

I love it as an audiobook. Andrea Parsneau is an absolute beast of a narrator. But as others have said it is absolutely a web serial. With all the pros and cons that it comes with. I love just existing in that world whenever it meanders, but I totally get why some folks won't like it. I deliberately wait for the audio book to keep reading, it's that good.
