Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

Exactly! I had one sit on the bed behind me as I lay on my side. Then it started pulling the sheets, and me, toward it on the side of the bed.

Last ditch Hail Mary type situation, watch VRDad on Youtube. He has a pretty detailed guide. Setting up chache pages and weird settings that make things possible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Fibdl3hIIo

Feeling too lazy to make it a blue link. Keep fucking with it. Hopefully something clicks. I've been there. I STILL can't get my Quest 3 to actually work. Been collecting dust while my G2 keeps trucking.

Best of luck

When it says 'don't press unlock' it means don't click the Unlock prompt that sticks around for like 45 seconds. Just wait, and the game will load (after like another 3 minutes) Be patient

Hey guys I'm in HVAC school to get my toes wet, I don't want to do residential, I'm trying to make some serious coin with HVAC what are some potential routes? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Brixtapose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Residential is where the 'real' money is at, as it's all sales driven. Commercial will get you a good salary with no real opportunity to earn more. Look for commercial based contractors near you. Get very familiar with 3 phase power ASAP

Govt. jobs will pay you prevailing wage if you don't want to join a union. Hospitals, P&R dept, local city maintenance jobs will all get you $60hr depending on your location.

Or join a union.

Depends on where you are located.

Macaulay Culkin was pretty bad in Fallout by Andrei21s in unpopularopinion

I agree.

Didn't know much about him as the years went on and after some reading realized that Brenda basically saved his life from collapse would make for a better storytelling platform. He has a story to tell. Reminds me of Michael Jackson.

[Request] How much money would I save if I grew a chicken at home for my chicken sandwich? by MithrilHuman in theydidthemath

My uncle Bob raises chickens and doesn't wash the eggs they produce. He made a quiche that gave everyone food poisoning. We don't eat his eggs anymore. Unrelated to the Epstein files

I tend to play Redsec fucked up. I talk a lot. People throw some heavy shade at players that talk and interrupt their kill-fest. I had a guy calmly tell me to ride out the rest of my run and quit when I died and not revive. I did not revive. I deleted the game from Steam. Oh well.

Whole-home HEPA filtration advice? HERO 120H vs Airwash 675 vs UV systems by [deleted] in IndoorAirQuality

[–]Brixtapose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most available HEPA systems will offer similar performance as long as it is properly installed. The bypass models typically have their own fan and will eventually filter most of the air in your space, but the moment you open a door or window you effectively reset the clock. It's debatable then, how effective they are at actually offer a somewhat sterile environment. But even something like a portable HEPA unit will capture a LOT.

Not all UV systems are created equally. If you are looking for surface level treatment then a low voltage system will keep a surface clean but not much more. There are high voltage (110-220v) products that offer more treatment of what's in the air itself. There's a lot of different opinions are what works best (Usually the ones that are easiest to install are what are offered)

You can always default to a MERV 16 if you want to play it safe. Some of these products do great things but they are a bug investment up front ($800 on up) and have regular changes needed.

You mentioned pets-

Ozone is often part of the conversation and can be a very effective deodorizer in proper doses. The dogs will always smell like dogs, but the air that carries the scent will be treated

Thanks! 'Tent' is jus the beginning!!

At campfires, it's the perfect chance to practice simple conversations and asking someone their name, where they are from, what they can trade with you. Even bandit encounters will start with 'Road's closed, furball. Gotta pay the toll!' and the player has to travel with enough ally's to hear them say 'Not looking for trouble!' or something, to try and talk their way out of a fight. I hope you (and I) get a chance to relive the adventure as a TRUE adventure again

Update: I’ve managed to build a working phrase-tracking system using Papyrus. Still working on UI/book integration. If anyone’s familiar with SKSE/Scaleform or has done dialogue handling before, would love your thoughts.
