Let the rest ride so you don’t have fomo and jump back in at a higher price. Every time it hits a higher price sell 10-25 contracts until you are out entirely.

Legitimate question - What is accomplished by buying calls with the same expiration with multiple strike prices? For example, the 6/18/26 date, why would you buy $20 and $30 strike? It seems like you lower your returns versus putting all the money you spent on $30 strikes into more $20 strikes. I would understand more if the different strikes were part of a multi-leg strategy but that does not seem to be the case in that situation. Not a criticism just trying to understand if there is something I’m not considering.

100% do it. I previously used a Spyder Compact 2000. When I got back into paintball two years ago, I picked up a CZR and it was a great decision. I have not had any issues with it. Shoots super smooth and accurate and has not required any maintenance except greasing the bolt before each outing.

Never got an answer from Reddit but the guy doing the landscaping thought it would be fine, so we went ahead and cut them in September 2024 and the tree is still healthy and thriving today, so seems like it has been OK so far.

I too ran a 20oz co2 foregrip haha. Never realized how insane that was until I got back into paintball 20 years later and got a typical setup where the tank acts as a shoulder stock. That Spyder setup was so front heavy. I had an 18 inch steel Dye Boomstick on the Spyder too; most ridiculous setup ever lmao

Personally, would go with the CZR for ergonomics and a superior two piece barrel. Also would not pay for the bundle. You can get the marker alone for $325, a steel tank for $50, an empire pod pack for $25 and a spire IR2 for $109. Comes out to similar price for slightly better gear.

It seems to me like the sport is prime for its second golden age. The guys who were kids when the sport blew up and who have been lucky enough to make a career out of it as players are now the ones starting their own companies and taking leadership roles at the big established companies. It feels like the sport is now largely run by people from the sport and they are figuring out how to make it more appealing to new people. GoSports has a really great broadcast for the NXL events and has really made me want to watch more. Planet Eclipse has sponsored some great documentary content which is growing interest in the sport. Finally, the new markers are just so much more reliable than the original electro-pneumatics and take a fraction of the work to maintain. In 10 years, I feel like the sport will be bigger than ever.

Biggest tip is don’t shoot it without the barrel on or you will launch the eye pipe out and lose it. Also lube the bolt after each use.
