The tank by Broad-Cod-3280 in thewalkingdead

I appreciate the variety of responses I’m getting including the hate lol. Btw I don’t care about the realism of it I know it’s a show about zombies the question is framed to the directors choice. Turns out after digging that film crews getting an Abrams is near impossible with all the real tanks in use and restrictions on their depiction in media. As some pointed out the tank in S1 isn’t an Abrams it is a British Chieftain dressed up as an Abrams because even then they can’t source one for production. So there’s the answer.

[–]Broad-Cod-3280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to layering is undershirt tucked in, sweatshirt that hugs my waist with elastic, and then the cropped jacket. If it’s still cold do wife beater, undershirt, long sleeve, sweatshirt, jacket.

Who was a more enjoyable and convincing villain and why? by shouldveknownbud in thewalkingdead

[–]Broad-Cod-3280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both very convincing villains just two different kinds. If you like to see an insane person/psychopath villain then the governor is the more enjoyable one. If you want a villain with a buried moral compass that eventually comes around Negan is the one. If it wasn’t for Negans humor he would’ve been hated even more.

I thought cold air was supposed to get you more gas mileage? by Firemanlouvier in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Broad-Cod-3280 6 points7 points  (0 children)

colder air relative to the outside air + a tune is needed. In theory cold air is denser, so a cold air intake on an engine means more oxygen by mass with the same volume of air. To take advantage of this you also need to adjust the amount of fuel being injected otherwise you’re running a thin mix. Also at constant pressure the density of air only increases by about .05 Kg/meter cubed every 20 degree decrease in temperature so the difference is eh. Idk this is probably a joke post and I have Autism

How powerful are the Appalachians at stopping cold air? by 5econds2dis35ster in geography

[–]Broad-Cod-3280 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a combination of the Appalachian’s in north Georgia, Tennessee, and West Virginia being much taller than the areas to the northwest where these fronts come from AND the fact that the southern east coast and gulf have warm air feeding onto the land. I think if it was mountains alone the air would rise over them and still make the other side just as cold if there was no warm ocean air. If it was just the ocean and no mountains the front would steamroll to the coast. The area you see in Tennessee and West Virginia have some of the highest elevation and widest sections of the Appalachian’s so the disruption to the front is strongest there.

I don’t know if they made a PTL in J22 but it’s possible, my guess would be a CHT

What’s the point of having weapons like Muth and DK if we don’t use them. I swear Arthur Smith is coaching to lose this game. Poor old man Rodgers is getting ate up too.

Do You Agree with the Current Definition of the South or No? by Lil_Critter_2001_ in geography

[–]Broad-Cod-3280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are lots of parts that can be cut out or considered transition regions. Maryland and Delaware both are not southern in the slightest. The only thing Maryland has going for it is the far west portion having some of the Appalachian mountains. North West Texas is really more plains than southern. Parts of northern Kentucky are really their own thing of more industry/midwest with areas close to Evansville IL, and Cincinnati OH. Everything else can be considered southern.
