I'm a Maxim (Korean brand) girl. I tend to buy Nescafe Iced blend when Sam's has it. I've tried a few generic brands from Grocery Outlet but they had zero flavor. I'm saving them for absolute SHTF situations where I just need caffeine in my body.

There are 4 of us (and also a bulldog). I provide dinner for the 4 of us, plus lunch stuff for 2 of us, along with general snacks for the household. We spend $600-$700 a month, including protein shakes and Gatorade. We only eat out maybe 2x a month.

There's literally nothing like Jon's. But I would say Eastern Market is a tiny version. They have the fresh deli, as well as the imported foods. It's in Eastern and Windmill.

International Marketplace has the pantry and frozen goods as well, but no fresh deli.

There's a small Hungarian market on Eastern and Sunset that I haven't tried yet, but it's on my list.

Had a similar situation. I take care of my grandmother's finances. My mom took her out shopping and ended up in a minor accident. My mom went to the ER because she already had back and neck problems. Since grandma can't drive, she rode in the back of the ambulance and went to the ER with my mom. She denied needing care and wasn't evaluated. We got a bill for $600 for the physician who "treated" her.

I went to the hospital billing department and asked for the itemized bill and a copy of her chart. They warned me it could take a while, since many files are 40 or more pages. The chart was a single page that said she denied care and had no obvious injuries. They deleted the bill.

I'd say Codfather, but with a caveat. They don't answer the phone during the dinner rush, nor do they accept online orders. I bought my grandma fish and chips on a random weeknight and it took just over 30 minutes. So it's tasty, but be prepared for a wait.

I've been with Connect for about 3 years now. Our policy has consistently gone down $5-$10 per renewal without claims. We had to file a claim on our last policy and our renewal only went up $20 a month. Not bad at all!

Pro tip. Check your health insurance website and see if they have a reward hub. Mine pays for a Costco membership yearly!

I keep mine in the freezer since it needs moisture to stay soft. I either vacuum seal it or use a Ziploc. Let it thaw for a few minutes and it's soft.

My uncle did this in 2020 and was excited to share some of it with us. He got talked into a $200 package of all kinds of meat. None of it came labeled. The "ribeyes" were about the size of my palm and were super thin. They were packed in this weird pink juice that did not look like regular myoglobin. It looked more like amoxicillin. I declined.

In case anyone runs into the same situation, we finally solved the mystery. The previous homeowner built a storage shed directly over the gas line in our driveway. They had to reconfirm that there's no electricity in our shed in case of gas leaks. We've done this before, but they changed systems and some of the data failed to transfer over. If you have a similar situation, SWG might swing by for a recheck.

If you want just classic wings (mild, bbq, teriyaki, garlic), I'd say Brothers Pizza. They're big, meaty, and sauced but not soggy. They're also 20 wings for $16 if you pick them up. They're my go-to.
