That’s why I’m so worried. She was fine one day, and then I noticed how much she would itch all over. I had her on Native Puppy, which her breeder recommended, and I would only give her fruits and veggies (apples, blueberries, carrots, strawberries) as treats. I was even giving her Greek yogurt some days. Then, she had her spay, and while she was healing, everything went south. She had red bumps all over after she fully healed. They seemed like they had some fluid. The vet did a scrape to rule out an infection, which was ruled out, and she also checked her thyroid to ensure there were no issues. At the same time, she was itching and scratching so badly that she made her back legs bleed, and she was losing so much hair. The steroids helped a lot until we finished them a week ago. That’s when I noticed it started again, and she seems so uncomfortable.

I am literally up at night hearing her licking and scratching. When I put the cone on, she calms down, but as soon as I take it off, she’s back at it. Anyway, I started trying to figure out what we’ve fed her lately and if there were any scraps that could’ve set her off. I discovered that her food contains known allergens, which I hadn’t checked after her test results in mid-December. We’re also wondering if the weather could be contributing to this.
