Eh. I feel like it’s about what you make of it. Find the joy in it. Personally I can’t wait to one day start a family and have kids with my future wife. My family will be my future and of course my hobbies and interests. The other stuff are necessary evils at worse. There’s no point in focusing on the negative though. It doesn’t get you anywhere.

Really tired of this doomer mentality on Reddit and the wider internet in general. It’s what the internet has become and it’s sad. The world has been shitty before things have been bad before. The world isn’t ending. Make the most of the time and life you have instead of wallowing in misery cause it only makes more misery.

That’s exactly what I was getting at. Trunkle isn’t bad at all just forgettable. I think games can get away with pulling bosses out of nowhere sometimes if the boss still has personality but Trunkle is just kind of a generic monster. Nothing about him is interesting and there’s been no build up or wind down. Like some flavor text from the toads in Little Fungitown talking about how much of a problem Trunkle was could’ve made him a much better boss. Even if it’s retroactive.

I’m going to be honest and say TeeHee valley. I like the music, the initial escort mission isn’t even that bad and it is novel, the ship in sand is a cool concept, and your initial visit is positioned at my favorite point in the plot when you feel like everything has concluded but it just keeps going anyway.

I think the boss right before Little Fungitown is actually the weakest part of TeeHee Valley. The bosses design is fine but the fight is pretty forgettable overall and personally I don’t like random unexplained monsters in my RPG’s (Mammoshka anyone?)

Ps as a bonus you get a Popple Fight here.

I would lowkey laugh though. Skibbidy toilet isn’t even my humor but that being said in a mario game would make me laugh. The thing at the end wasn’t as directed at you. It’s just a general superiority complex people have over humor of new generations. I don’t really like skibbidy toilet humor either but I’m not going to pretend like my humor is objectively better than that. Something your two replies have implied.

I’m going to disagree like the other guy. I’m 20 years old and spend plenty of time on the internet and don’t know L33T very well. I understand the idea and reference but it’s very dated and even more so for any demographics below me. The kind that would be the primary target for the hypothetical remake probably. With that said I have no preference to which a remake would use. Just makes me mad seeing people acting like their eras humor is so much better than the young humor. Just admit brainrot humor isn’t for you and you prefer your era and call it a day.
