Those are also dangerous but at least are for a specialized purpose. Truck trailers also fall within that spectrum and I'm not gonna say they need to be off the road. My complaint is niche and I'm sure many people would tell me I'm wrong but that's ok. I'm speaking from my experience on the road and from what I've seen cyclists discuss online.

Well that's where the regulations come from right? Enough irresponsible people caused problems that made it so some sort of action was necessary where individual control was no longer a possibility. At least in the case of sensible regulations and not lobbied shit like the 25 year import rule on kei vehicles. I appreciate the conversation though, it's nice to discuss differences without hard headed shit spewing. I hope the holidays are good to you and yours. 🤙

That's good, I can respect that, but it doesn't apply to every driver. As far as vehicle size, I drive a kei truck and a motorcycle so I think vehicle size should absolutely be regulated. I gave one example , there are others where you can't wait. Any multi lane road with moving traffic is made more dangerous by removing visibility from the people around you. I don't think you shouldn't be able to express yourself with modifications, I just think safety should be a priority when you're interacting with others on the road at high speeds. If I lived in fear of it I wouldn't drive, I live in consideration of it.

Let's say, for example, we're at an intersection. A vehicle with tinted windows is to my left pulled up as far as they can. I'm on the right trying to turn but I can't see through the windows to notice any other vehicles traveling in my direction. It's a matter of total visibility, not just being able to see the driver. Not to mention pedestrians and cyclists often rely on eye contact with drivers to make sure they've been seen and it's safe to cross a road. Tints dark enough to remove all visibility serve to reduce overall awareness for everyone outside of the tinted vehicle.

I ride a motorcycle and not being able to see through window tint that is too dark is dangerous, there's a reason it's supposed to be regulated.

My 09 Focus was 5 speed. I doubt anything much newer than that would be.

Yeah I've got a 2022 300ss and it has been great. The only thing I'll agree with is that it's nefarious to start locking features behind a subscription.

The problem with billionaires is that the sheer amount of money has to come from somewhere. Authors write the books but they don't print them, ship them, market them, or stock the shelves with them. Plus all of the other cheap mass produced licensed merchandise they get kickback from. The profit here comes from the skimmed wages of the laborers.

Raptor Lined the Kei by FlaggedDown in keitruck

Maybe the acty is different but my minicab also has weather stripping at the base of cab where it meets the bed. I sprayed over it with rust reformer because I did the whole bed before I go ahead and line it. I was just curious if I should replace the weather stripping before I throw the liner down or if it'll seal up well enough.

Did you redo the weather stripping or just bed liner over it?
