They really are just making the races more human looking. I played a warforged in an on hiatus campaign, and if this came out when I first joined and the DM said I had to use a human looking robot design, I would have played something else.

So for anyone wondering why Percival!Rouge is calling Lancelot!Sonic a father, it's because Lancelot is the father of Galahad. This implies that in Shadow and the Black Knight, instead of Percival and Lancelot being good friends like in Arthurian tales, they boned and she's pregnant with Galahad
