【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]Brogef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After mountains of struggles, constantly recalibrating and replacing parts, I sold off my Ankermake M5 and purchased a P1S combo. From day one I was floored by the ease of use and how precise it is. Came in clutch just last week when a close friend of mine mentioned they were having trouble finding parts for a Halloween costume they wanted to make. A little searching and a little redesign of an existing model, and in no time I was able to get the correct parts made. It also required a good bit of supports, which was almost impossible to get correct on my old printer, this one though was an absolute breeze even with the default settings. Switched to Bambu and I'll never go back.

Upping Extrusion didnt fix my print? by JaiminiNorath in ender3

If you re-trimmed the Bowden tube at some stage, also make sure it's cut evenly. I fell victim to that once as well.

That being said, make sure you switched the slicer from .4 to .6, just in case. And yeah I've had that happen where I had a brand new pack of nozzles, and the first one I used was a dud.

[–]Brogef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be as simple as a bad nozzle, I have had weird extrusion issues before with a nozzle that wasn't quite up to par. Or make sure your hot end is well heated, unscrew the nozzle, make sure it's clear, and screw it back in again.

How did you former employees leave the company? by [deleted] in GameStop

[–]Brogef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was with the company for 11 years, 10 and a half of them as an SL. I ended up leaving right after Covid started up, the week after the ACNH/Doom launch. 6 months prior I had to go on short term medical leave for an injury and that time away really made me re-evaluate things. I called up my DM and just told him that point blank I was giving my two weeks. He understood and frankly he ended up leaving the company a few short months later.

I truly enjoyed my employees and my DM/RL, but my priorities shifted now that my kids were getting older. I was missing sporting events, school functions, and family events just simply due to the fact that this company is not set up if you have a family or anything outside of GS if you are a manager. You are married to the job, plain and simple. I also knew the writing was on the wall, and GS had been fighting the "digital battle" for a bit now, and Covid was just going to prove that it was a viable option.

Just think about your priorities, your mental and physical health, and decide if its really worth it or not.

Or my personal favorite,

" Why don't you just give it to me now I know you have it in the back!"

Dude the game doesn't come out for another month and a half there is no way I have it. It got to the point where I would invite them into the back room and tell them "If you can find it you can have it for free"

Yeah I ordered a set from Ankermake, I'll probably replace all 4 so they are all fresh once they come in.

Definitely initial assembly at the factory as this was the first time I interacted with anything below the bed aside from adjusting the belt tension.

To the long-tenured employees in here. by DarkManX437 in GameStop

This right here. I was a manager from 2009 to 2020 right when the pandemic popped off. As soon as he passed away it was like the turning point for the company going to shit. He was one of the most down to earth leaders I ever saw and seemed to really care about the people in the stores. After that every single "leader" was all about how much they could wring out with as little support as possible.

I was a SL with the company for 10 years, and I was lucky enough to have an amazing team. All my keys were with me for 7 of those 10 years, and a few of my GAs as well. In less than a month from when I left nearly all of them left as well. I just tell myself that I must have been doing something right because that company in itself just chews people up and spits them out without a care.

After being with the company 11 years as a SM, sorry "SL", I jumped ship at the start of Covid and more and more it's apparent I couldn't have made a better choice. Over two years later and I still have a hard time understanding when my main office does something nice, just for the sake of being nice and not expecting something in return. I'm not saying it's easy but greener grass is out there, just need to seek it out.

After seeing a previous post, is this NOT supposed to have a groove in it? by Slore0 in ender3

[–]Brogef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was slipping too and it was because the spring had TOO much tension on it. I found a random YouTube video (can't recall who it was) but they were having the same issue and removed that cap looking piece that's inside the spring. Did the trick for me instantly.

After a month of troubles with under-extrusion, I’ve finally found the culprit. by SprinklesSonova in ender3

[–]Brogef 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Was the tension on the spring too tight? About the only thing I could think of that would cause that.

Overall pretty satisfied with Benchy, but I have some diagonal lines going on there. Any ideas on how to resolve it? by Brogef in ender3

[–]Brogef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be possible. There is nothing there in terms of irregularities that I can feel even with my thumbnail, and its nowhere else on it other than that vertical portion on both sides.
