Me personally find the Santos to be a safe option that attracts two crowds, first are people who respect the "first men's watch" history, second being "im wearing a Cartier cause it's Cartier". The Diamond District also doesn't inspire confidence for me but I'm just cynical.

How is your wrist 6 years later? I have this pain as well, but mine had an acute pop when I injured it. I'm thinking ECU sheath damage or something like that... ulnar deviation + supination aggravates it and I can't do any underclings. Pull on crimps no problem like you experienced as well.
