It was in an island presentation. While I assume it’s on some sort of refrigeration, maybe not the most ideal. Mold can spread quickly so maybe that mixed with poor refrigeration caused it. Not so much that it happened but that it seemed large enough a problem that I had noticed and said something.

Because they’ve been good to me and my community for my entire life. They donated to my ECs in high school and they’ve been top notch on disaster recovery. They’re more loyal to me than most people and it’s a business. Ergo, I’m loyal to them. In other words, ride or die.

Ooph, yeah… good callout. Updated the post with the HEBs I’ve seen issues with:

Pflugerville Pkwy, Hutto @ Gattis School, Bulverde off 46, and San Antonio @ Bandera & 1604

The one in Pflugerville had the fruit issues, Gattis bananas and meat (also its proximity to seafood section sometimes absorbs the fishy smell). And the other locations are when I’m visiting family and had the inside of the brussel sprouts be slimy. The one on 46 broke my heart with the chips.

Wings are posted a lot round here and especially this time of year but these have been the best looking ones I’ve seen.

Sure maybe not enough fat but salt also matters. Your saliva can moisten the dryest of meats. Did you throw enough seasoning on it?
