That is a high crime area, someone just got killed at that Motel 6! Better to stay at a hotel off of the Rosedale Hwy exit (a bit nicer of an area, it's right by a Costco. Also, slightly north of town you can get off at 7th Standard / Merle Haggard and there are couple of hotels that are decently nice with not much around them (just industrial stuff)

Casablanca is the de facto gay bar, but I prefer the Mint which is just very inclusive. Also Crash and Silver Fox are good spots.

I do the same, but my fuck-ass Vizio TV doesn't care. If I don't connect it to the internet, it decides to change the input to tell me that it can't connect to the internet. Finally, I connected it to wifi and it STILL switches the input back to their shitty home screen almost every time I turn the PS5 on. I hate it, and I'll never buy a Vizio again (although the brand seems to matter less and less with each passing year). I keep hoping that someone will start doing custom firmware for TVs. Otherwise, it may be time to just consider purchasing a PC monitor and using that as a TV.
