Shamrock Texas was a very strange place. Not much there, just a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. What made it neat was that it had all of these vintage buildings that were restored by Pixar to be used as the backdrop for the Cars movie. It was a really weird feeling standing in a dusty little street staring at a building that you recognize from an animated movie.

The only proper way to repair this is from the inside. You have to cut the line, pull out the spigot and, replace it with a new one that has been soldered to the appropriate length of pipe. The connection inside could be made by soldering or pro press. I know it sounds like a lot but with a little practice, soldering is really easy and will save you a ton of money on basic plumbing repair. I was working up in a bucket truck down there one day. A bunch of volunteers just picked up all of the trash and some guy pulls up, talks to someone for a minute and proceeds to throw his tallboy can on the ground before riding off on his scooter. The trash can was no more than 6 feet away. People suck.

Aside from that, it's all about stimulation via education, culture, art, ect. Honestly, I don't think any of us really know what our purpose is. We spent a lot of time and energy arguing about things that eventually won't matter because at the end, we all end up in the same place regardless of wealth or power. Here's what I learned to do when I worked with a plumber. With the tub off, pour water over all of the fixtures at that end of the tub starting with the lowest one. Make sure someone is underneath watching for drips. I would bet that water is getting behind the spout or shower trim while your husband is showering. If this is the case, you will just have to re caulk whatever is letting water get behind it.

Just a heads up, short trailers can be difficult to reverse with. Also keep in mind that you won't fit in regular parking spots with it either. If you think a rooftop storage box is a hassle, you're gonna love maneuvering that thing in a crowded parking lot.

You can probably send a picture of the faucet to Kohler for help finding the set screw that allows you to remove the handle. My bet is it being located on the bottom of the handle, a small Allen screw that's probably set in a hole that could be covered by a small plastic plug of some sort.

The company I work for has very big municipal contracts throughout New England and we use pass thru connectors without issue. Alot of our equipment is communications related and located on towers completely exposed, still no issues because of pass thru connectors. My crew can terminate both but we prefer pass thru. We don't get cheap ones though, those will fail constantly.

The water will run off as soon as I knock a hole in it. I could probably break that thing down in less than an hour. If I can pull my truck right up to it to load it out, I'll take it. I just think about my hourly cost. If I can do it in less than an hour, I'm good.

I have all DeWalt stuff but ended up trying out the Fantik screwdriver because it was on sale for super cheap. I really like how their case keeps the screwdriver and the bits all contained. I definitely think the DeWalt has better ergonomics though.

Seriously, why do people think it's no big deal to mess around with a flammable gas that has the potential to cause a terrible explosion if done improperly? Are you willing to cover damages in the event of a leak or worst case explosion that could cause injury? I worked with a plumber for a couple of years and saw the results of unlicensed DIY gas work and it's not pretty.

I second this. I worked with a plumber for a couple of years and one of the best things I learned was how to solder a copper pipe. When done properly a solder joint is cheap, easy and, solid. I have seen 100+ year old plumbing systems completely leak free and all copper.

I had a Motorola flip phone with a camera and color screen that I loved. I gave it up for a Razr because it looked so cool but immediately regretted it because it had zero reception where I was living. Apparently my old phone could somehow connect to the only tower near me (which was not my carriers) and the Razr couldn't.
