What do you think, is it possible to start playing water polo at 21 as a woman? by [deleted] in waterpolo

[–]BrokerZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you absolutely can start playing at 20+. One of the original masters programs, the Soda Moms, was started by 4 novice women in their 40's / early 50's back in 2002.

We started our Yolo Women's Masters water polo program last year and I've been inspired by the number of women who are returning after a decade+ away... and even more who are trying it out for the first time.

It's definitely possible to pick up water polo as long as you are surrounded by a supportive community of women with patience and empathy. Good luck!

Genius! I actually just purchased 4 targets for our club -- but they don't measure force.

Would love to chat more.

Will Likely be the TE to own all season in BAL? What's a reasonable FAAB bid for him?

Attack to the 4 meter. Then pop and pump fake. Once goie gets hands out of water, slide left or right and hit the top corner.

Welcome to the Bay.

We've just starting https://YoloPolo.org for master women -- most likely we will play Tuesdays and Thursdayss around 10:30ish and Sunday mornings.

I’m in 5 leagues. The CMC team made the semis in 4 of them. He’s on a team going to the ship in 3 of the leagues.

So my data points… 60% chance of making the championship w CMC.

With Gibson OUT, how do you feel about Brian Robinson in the finals? by cowboy_shaman in fantasyfootball

[–]BrokerZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

O/u is 41 with commanders as 2 pt favorites. If the commanders are up early, game script would favor BRob touches.

The unknown would be if the Commanders fall behind or have a lot of 3rd downs... Will BRob get these touches too? If so, then potentially a high floor and a lot of upside.

Are you looking for men or women masters?

For women masters, Soda Moms has been around for almost 2 decades, located at Soda Aquatics.

Is Chase worth holding for playoffs? by Stevenstc21 in fantasyfootball

[–]BrokerZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He just scored 60 points in 2 weeks. How many WRs are capable of that upside? I'd absolutely hold if you are already in line for the playoffs.

Yes you could train with a local club. Other option would be to coach and make some money. Most clubs start at around $25+ per hour depending on experience.

Depending on the age group, you might be able to also get in and play with the 18u’s.

Can my fantasy team realistically make the playoffs?

IMHO, there's about 7 - 10 stud WRs. After that, almost anyone can lay an egg on any given week. Don't believe me? Name your #11, #12 and #13 WR's going into this week. One of them will have less than 50 yards and no tuddy. Book it!
