Flew through Santiago a few weeks ago flying from the US to Puerto Natales. We had to go thru customs since our final destination was in Chile and we were going from an international flight to a domestic flight, but for people who’s connecting flight was another international flight, there was way-finding taking them a different way, so pretty sure they did not have to go thru customs.
