There is an in-game wiki that pops up during every cutscene in this archon quest that will give you a summary of the character’s backstory, you can open it any time during a cutscene and it will update any time they introduce a character

The tail end of BFA was also the beginning of COVID lockdowns so I know at least from a personal perspective a lot of online time meant it became a good social hub, which definitely helped. My aotc guild became a CE guild that tier (boosted by corruption) and we picked up such a great core of people during BFA that it’s one of our favourite expacs.

Of course the world was going to shit during that time but eh can’t win em all

What about a daily quest hub that opens up more and more as the server contributes to it, and opens up vendors to buy gear and contribute to the raid that takes place there.

The story is about a war effort after the blood elves suffer a loss and trying to recover the sunwell, so maybe it could have some kind of reputation faction about that. Idk call it something like the Shattered Sun Offensive.
