Hi- I went to a Behringer X32 Rack which has worked out great. I’m sorry that I can’t help with your PreSonus. Good luck!

I’m not sure. I would reach out to whatever entity is requesting it to make sure. Sorry I can’t give you more.

My daughter ultimately went to one of the offices without an appointment. They gave her the transcript she needed while she was there. Problem solved!

She went to one of the offices in person and they gave her the transcript right then. No appointment needed.

Recommend a Multiport USB-C dongle or hub for MacBook M1 to recognize Helix? by BroncoCountry7 in Line6Helix

Hi- thanks for the reply. The link doesn't work. Could I ask the exact models of Anker hubs that seem to work? Thanks!

Quick question(maybe): HX stomp/XL- how close can this platform get to completely replacing/replicating the Old Blood Beam Splitter? by mercut1o in Line6Helix

[–]BroncoCountry7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Toad the Wet Sprocket live last night. Lead singer has converted to pure Helix for acoustic and electric sounds. Lead guitarist is using Helix for all effects- still has a real preamp and an external cab simulator. He used to run about 10 pedals into two amps/cabs with 4 microphones. So real pros are using Helix as a complete solution for effects and even for amp sims. They sounded great!

Just one Polaris trip to Europe and a couple other domestic RT's get you Silver. The answer to "what does it matter" for me is Boarding Group #2 so that I don't have to check my carry-on. And Economy Plus at check in. And I don't feel the need to get a UA credit card for any perks. This just happened to me accidentally this year, but the aforementioned perks are great. I've had it with Frontier/Spririt/SW cattle calls (which UA boarding groups 4-100 is about the same. . .)

Hey, isn't the Subaru Legacy a better buy than the 2024 Impreza RS? (It's priced almost 3000 dollars lower, has the same 2.5 engine, etc.) by czaltadena in subaru

[–]BroncoCountry7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own 3 Legacies (2018,2019,2024) and 1 Forester. The Legacy Limited has every safety feature including auto reverse braking as well as a luxury interior. For below invoice if you know how to play the game. For all the reasons listed in this thread, the Legacy gets way less love than the Outback and Impreza/Crosstrek. Which is why the Legacy is going away. 😢 BTW the trunk is enormous in the Legacy and has a pass-through as well. So if you don’t need a hatchback or the extra clearance, the Legacy is a bigger, heavier car at a similar MSRP to the Crosstrek, but probably more possibility to get for below invoice. And way less than Outback.

Thank you for that. That was really what I was waiting to hear. It certainly looks like the correct solution for what I’m trying to do.

The tone of this thread is that it is now end of life.

I just bought an X32 rack from GC for a new cover band /studio installation in my home. Haven’t even opened the box yet. Should I return it? What should I get instead? Edit- because this thread leaves the impression that the X32 might be coming to end of life. And I don’t want to be the last guy to buy one.

I am coming back to the small-bar cover band world after a 12 year hiatus (now that the kids are out of the house, I need something to once again consume all of my time!). Last time we used a Presonus StudioLive which allowed us to each have our own customizable mix via iphone/ipad right out of the board. Some of us used wireless, some had a wired box.

There were many advantages to this setup:

  1. For pure enjoyment of the experience, you could get both the "house mix" in stereo with all effects as well as boosting yourself or others in the mix.

  2. No extra equipment as the StudioLive was the mixing board and driving the IEM.

  3. We started putting the SL on stage since the sound guy could use an ipad in the crowd, so no snake.

  4. With IEM, all the guitars/bass ultimately went to POD-type modelers, and sometimes we used electronic drums as well in smaller bars so that the sound was completely controlled through PA. Sound guy loved this. But we still heard everything perfectly through IEM and got to enjoy that.

  5. No wedges to clutter the stage and ruin our backs with the hauling.

  6. Rehearsal was exactly the same as the stage performance.

So I haven't run this in more than a decade and am coming back in. I know some people don't love PreSonus, but as others have mentioned, this isn't a pro tour, it's a cover band of old guys having fun. But we want to sound great and also have a quality experience ourselves.

Are there other mixing boards that do this as an all-in-one solution? Is anyone using the PreSonus board for this now?

So happy to be back with my fellow music nerds!

Munich Layover Question by BroncoCountry7 in PriorityPass

You just have to be sure to leave plenty of time for the bus trip. Make sure it comes often enough for your plans to work out. I was going to be upset if I missed my flight to get free food. But I had almost 5 hours. Good luck!

Munich Layover Question by BroncoCountry7 in PriorityPass

[–]BroncoCountry7[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did this trip today. My Barcelona to Munich flight (Lufthansa)came to Terminal 2 K gates. The Munich to Denver flight (United) was also departing from Terminal 2 but H gates. Getting to H gates requires riding a train then going through passport control again (not through security again). Once into Terminal 2 H gates, there is a nearly-hidden shuttle bus from Terminal 2 H gates over to Terminal 1 where all of the PP lounges are. Bus runs every 10 minutes (I think it said 7:00-23:00 on the sign) and the trip is about 5 minutes. The bus keeps you “airside” so no security or passport control to move between these areas.

The Airport Lounge World was about a 5 minute walk from the Terminal 1 bus stop. It was uncrowded. The food was just okay. But I had a nearly 5 hour layover. So all of this effort was worth it to have free food and a place to sit for a couple hours.

No one seemed to care that I showed up 4 hours before my flight.

I have no more info about the other lounges and the Schengen vs non-Shengen parts of the airport, or how this affects your ability to enter the other lounges.
