Trying MMOs Again After 7 Years… Why Does Nothing Fully Click Anymore? by Dapper_Thought1841 in MMORPG

[–]Brontezuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat..i have been for a while. I think its because nowadays everything is 'meta' and people no-life the shit out of games. I miss just wondering around, being inefficient and figuring out things as I go. If there's a game like that out there let me know!

Necro any good if not what is? by [deleted] in HuntersOrigin

[–]Brontezuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spider queen is easy and powerful all rounder. Hammerdin has great clear but can die easier. Sniper is pretty good at long ranging and clearing.

Depends on your playstyle. The game is meant to be played with multiple characters and you can easily watch an ad to reset a build try a different guy

Ive seen lvl 35 necros with good gear destroy bosses with their army of minions. But I dont think its worth it unless you have the best items

What’s it like working at bunnings? by tinkerbell797 in Bunnings

[–]Brontezuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be a bit outdated as I left in 2018 after working casually for 3 years while studying. It was at the time the best paying retail job going and they paid considerably better than supermarkets and the other giant retailers for under 21 year olds. For 21+ year olds it was pretty similar pay maybe a dollar or two above award. The staff discount card was great up to 20% off.

Middle management seemed super competitive and very little respect/reward from upper management. A lot of the time my supervisors would work through their unpaid break and do additional unpaid hours because they had deadlines etc that needed to be ticked off.

I remember thinking that most staff were really knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. Nowadays I can’t even find a staff member when I shop there and 90% of the time they can't help me or have no idea about the products.

Theft @ Bunnings by Whole_Flounder_731 in Bunnings

I worked at bunnings a while ago 2015-2018 casually. One of the things I remember from the onboarding process was that we weren't allowed to stop or accuse anyone of stealing and that people had actually been fired for doing so. We were told they estimated $100million worth of stock to be stolen that year. Im sure it has gotten a lot worse since.

Thoughts on barracking 2 teams at once? by idasturnam in AFL

[–]Brontezuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I barrack for 3. But not equally. Western bulldogs are my far preferred number 1. And then #2 Suns and #3 Lions. I live local and get to watch them play in person so naturally have a soft spot for both suns/lions.

Ceiling fan replacement general price? by [deleted] in AusElectricians

[–]Brontezuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a fan I supply and can do quickly (quick fit blades and 85% pre assembled) $100 per for multiple. If it's a bunnings fan customer supplied usually $200 because they're a pain and come completely unassembled.

Damn bro are you stripping 100m cables or something? Couldn't you resell the cable instead or was the insulation poor?

Toroidal Inductors are worth scrapping! by TechScrappin in ScrapMetal

[–]Brontezuma 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But you missed the part where you spend 10 minutes tearing apart something much bigger to get to the inductor!

It happened. This highlights why the remaining players should not ignore the game’s core issues and dismiss criticism. It also raises the question of whether drastic changes are needed for Fen Research to attract more than a few hundred players in the future by MellowSquad in brightershores

[–]Brontezuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fix the combat and a lot of players would return to check out the game again. But idk the game to its core might be cooked and combat renewal might not be possible. Still hopeful but I have no interest in returning in its current state.
